Can I get banned for proxy camping
Ok so before you call me a dick it is was for the hook the obsession 10 times archive challenge and was playing Michael for the insta down so its a bit easier and it’s a 4 man swf and was camping in the basement obsession on the hook they all feed me my tier 3 for a far and they come in one by one hook them all game over but they add me to a group chat all of them in it on ps4 and they are telling me how bad I am I try to explain I had the challenge but they kept on telling me how bad I was and then they start saying how I’m going to get banned since I was camping now I don’t know the exact ways you can get banned but is proxy camping a ban able offense?

Firstly, a bit of advice - never join a group chat with a group of survivors you just beat. 90% of the time, they just want to abuse you.
Secondly, no, camping is not a bannable offence in any form. They were just trying to scare you because they were upset they lost.

But for context, here's a list of non-bannable offenses.
THE FOLLOWING ARE NOT CONSIDERED BANNABLE OFFENSES - PLEASE DO NOT REPORT
* Camping
* Slugging
* Tunneling
* Streamsniping
* Teabagging
* Bodyblocking
* Looping
* Tapping generators with ruin
When someone says "You're bad, you're going to be easily banned for this" or something like that, 90% of the time it's just someone who's upset with the outcome of the match. They're either not aware of what's bannable and what's not, or it's a scare tactic to make you worry... which I see worked.
Proxy camping, Tunneling, Slugging, these are some examples that're not bannable. They're hated heavily by the community, but they're not bannable... so don't worry about it.
Also, like Fibijean said, don't join a group chat with the players you just beat in a match. 95% of the time it's just someone who's planning on abusing you in a private section where they can say anything without any repercussions... (kinda)
