Implement black bars for 21:9 resolutions
For 21:9 resolutions it currently stretches the FOV making the playing experience quite awful for those that are sensitive to motion sickness related to low FOV. This is also why I never play killer, the FOV is too low even with shadowborn. I understand that the FOV decision is not something that should be adjustable by the player in the competitive game. Currently when I play survivor I change my desktop resolution (from 3440x1440 to 2560x1440) every time before launching the game, this is the only way to keep the FOV default. I've been doing this for years. Please implement black bars on the sides instead (aka the overwatch solution) so the default fov is maintained and I do not need to adjust my desktop resolution for this game. I don't think there's any other game I need to do this for.

This game has never, and at this point fair to say, never will have even the most very basic of display options.
It does not support any type of disability such as color blindness or vertigo.
Hell, you can't even adjust the brightness to account for having a different monitor than the ones the devs used.
They would need to restructure the core game mechanic around not using FOV as a key component. Not happening
You can however, go into your video card's control panel, and select the scaling option which WILL add the black bars to the side, and won't require you to change the desktop rez before hand. oh wait. That won't work either because the game doesn't even let you select the resolution you want to play:
(although you may be able to enter the desired res in the .ini file -gameusersettings.ini and maybe it'll stick. Not sure tbh.
I think you're boned dude, sorry.
