What if there were 2 killers?
I have always thought about what would happen if there were a mode where there would be 2 killers. How would it be balanced? Obviously there would be more survivors and generators, but by how much? Just want to see the community’s opinion since I think it would be interesting.

Just as an aside, they would have to rebalance pigs traps for this mode specifically cause uhhh.....you're not gonna have enough time to check 10 boxes LOL

A ######### scenario.
Two killers can end any chase in a few seconds. Combine the Huntress/Freddy/Clown/Doc/Plague with any other killer and survivors cant move around.
Or 1 killer chase survivors, get downs and apply a pressure. 2nd killer is camping Bubba who ensure the 1st hook is the last hook.
I like the most Doc or Huntress + any other killer combo. Doc can follow a survivors and deny all vaults and pallet throws, lol. The 2nd killer just need to m1. Doc + Huntress. :D

It would never ever be balanced but I feel this game could benefit from having rotating meme modes tbh.

Back in the day, there was a bug, that lead to 2 killers in a match. Guess, the survivors in those matches were not so happy, after they discovered that 2 killers are hunting them :).

Or it would look like a broken version of this. Either way they'd have to balance a lot of the stacking debuffs to make it fair.
They would also have to maybe double the amount of lockers that spawned on that map, as well as just straight up disable certain tracking perks for killers in a mode like that.

Two killers would be completely OP. However, if you had 8 survivors and 2 killers, but rather than have the killers work together, have them work with their own team of survivors, that could be interesting. So killer A is trying to get killer B's survivors, but killer B can attack/stop killer A, and vice versa.

Yep:) my idea is along these lines 2 killers 2x or so bigger map 8 survivors with 9-10 Jen's but survivors would need 3 chances on hook because it would be to easy to face camp or killers can't come within 10m of each other.

For public matches this would be impossible to balance. But the developers should make it possible for custom match. There is no reason to restrict a "custom" match to just the original gamemode.

The bug resurfaced in the PTB for Oni, but they patched it out.

Yeah, it would be a pain, but that's why there would be more survivors in this hypothetical scenario because if there are 2 killers chasing one survivor, that is still another 5 survivors at least doing gens.

Interesting concept. It does kinda sound like a cool concept, but the killers' power would work differently and cause issues I'd imagine. For example: Micheal vs Huntress. Huntress would have an advantage with her ranged capabilities.

I think if there was a killer specifically designed to have two people control two different bodies that would be cool, but being able to choose any two killers would be incredibly unbalanced and probably not very fun after the first couple rounds as survivor.

Or it could be brokenly hilarious with an army of people with flashlights and toolboxes to destroy hooks running around. Or imagine an army of gen rushers!!!

Killer powers, perks and addons aren't designed to consider what happens if they are run by two characters. 2 Killers is going to be a mess any way you slice it.

Huntress is a problem, but she's the only ranged killer, so you would have to nerf her just a little in that mode.

I would agree with you here, if past instances of the 2 killer bug didn't show that most do work quite well without any issues. The only issue I am aware of is Pig's head traps instantly exploding on set up. Which really isn't that much to fix.
