Mist offerings should be removed from the game
The mist in this game is quite ridiculous. It's impossible to see anyone 10m in front of you. There are 3, yes 3, mist offerings that increase mist but only 1 that reduces it. I can't find any reason why a killer would want more mist as it just makes the game harder for them. The fact that survivors can stack it too make it that much worse. On top of all of it, mist causes some serious framerate issues on Xbox (depending on the map). I don't get why it's not removed from the game in the same way that moonlight offerings were removed. It just kinda ruins the game for killers.

Trapper, Hag, and Pig get some use out of them.3

Myers does too to some extent. It also makes the cloak of an approaching Wraith harder to spot. Plus if you have All-Seeing Eye, mist REALLY isn't an issue.
Consoles in general have been plagued with FPS issues this most recent patch and that's something that they're already aware of.2 -

I would much rather be able to see than have slightly better hidden traps. Plus the Hag buff makes her traps a lot more deadly now so she doesn't need to hide them as much since she can just web up an area, hiding them is almost a moot point. And with Trapper you aren't going to suddenly set random traps, the trap placements will still be somewhat predictable in most cases (eg. loops) so good survs will still know where they are. In all my time playing I've never seen a killer use mist, unless they were a baby and didn't know better.
As far as the frame rate issue yes I'm aware console has issues. But the frame rate for killer just goes to complete ######### when the mist is thick. It's just one more reason to get rid of it.

Most Killers don't use mist because it's not the most optimal thing to do. Trapper set random traps with the new Iridescent Stone. I can't speak to frame rate issues as I've never had any.0

Mist is useless.

It is important to know, that the survivors common offering that slightly thickens the mist increases it by 25%, while the killers common offering slightly lessens it by 50%.
I hate mist offerings so much.. I don't like them as a killer or survivor. The only thing more useless is the yellow Mori.

I just don't get why mist has to be a thing. I would much rather have a permanent baseline mist setting on a per map basis. Something where maps that favor killer (like Shelter Woods) would have slightly more mist than other maps, but then maps that favor survivor would have almost no mist. That would be fair.
As of now, mist offerings only benefit survivors, with some niche options for killers that still don't make up for the fact you can't see. Wraith's cloak being mildly harder to see doesn't matter if the Wraith can find people.

when I played Survivor on Pale Rose and the Wraith used the mist offering, I could always see him.
it made it easier for me to spot him
For example I was Repairing the Gen on the Pale Rose and I could see the cloaked Wraith and was like:OOHH HAAAAAI (MARK/PHILLIP)!
