matchmaking- pc vs ps4
so I was told that the matchmaking on pc is different from ps4 and has been for a few months- that it will be based off the highest rank if someone is in swf. so if a rank 10 teamed with a rank 17, they'd go against a rank 10 killer.
obviously this was news to me, since im a rank 15 killer and keep getting matched rank 8 + rank 20-15 buddies in a swf and you know... that makes it really hard to learn how to play the game when you're being bullied.
similarly, my swf team, two of us are rank 10 and one is rank 16, and we expected to go against a higher rank killer, but instead were matched against a rank 17 and it didn't feel fair at all.
what i want to know is, is me being told it's based on the highest rank on pc true? in which case, any news on this being added to consoles any time soon (ofc after the holiday period)? it's becoming a severe issue where killers immediately dc if they realise we're swf, regardless of rank, because they expect to be bullied.

I believe after the last hotfix match making got wonky again. Also in the stream they said they were doing something on the back end to improve match making while they were on hiatus. I believe that meant opening it up more to find matches quicker regardless of rank.

hmm, I did see in the recent Q&A that they said a bug was in the match making, so maybe it's that? and it's affecting ps4 more heavily? since it only seems to be ps4 that i see talking about it a lot.
since it's functioning okay for everyone else i hope the team will be able to fix it for us and not have any other issues
