Is Freddy on the switch now?
So I'll be getting this game on the switch this Christmas, decided to check the recent patch notes for it, and saw that it mentioned him in the patch notes. I don't see him as dlc in the nintendo shop, so is he a part of the base game now or was that a misunderstanding that I made while looking at the patch notes?

No, Freddy is not a part of the base-game for DBD (Switch Version).
This seems to just be an error with the Switch versions patch notes, since he's not in the Switch version of DBD.
So no, you won't be seeing him in the Switch version when you boot it up, same with LeatherFace and Quinton.
The only thing that the Switch version has from LeatherFace, Quinton, and Freddy, is that the Switch version has their perks in the Shrine of Secrets... that's it. They themselves are not in the Switch versions base-game, sorry.

You're right about Freddy, but according to the 3.4.0 Release Info, Leatherface the character is now available in the ingame store on Switch. The DLC itself may not be in the Nintendo Store yet, though.

Than my information was incorrect, I thought the information would be in the patch notes but apparently it's outside under the link itself... so...
Regardless, the Killer he wants isn't there so... yeah.
