What is a Challenge That Shouldn't Have Been Hard But Was?

I'm speaking of the Archive Challenges of course. For me one that I thought was going to be extremely easy, was kicking the same generator 4 times in a row. I was like I'll get this no problem. Ten games later I notice...I still haven't gotten it. The survivors kept dying far too quickly on each of the games I played, and the one they did give me some challenge on they kept switching to all the different gens until it got to two players left, and it was a 3 gen lock. They stopped working on the gens of course, wanting the hatch despite the hatch being right next to one of the gens I needed to patrol.

Eventually I got a survivor who strangely enough wanted me to kill them after I killed their SWF buddies, to work on a gen, they let me kick it 4 times in a row. They didn't want to...but I guess they didn't want to DC, but wanted to move on from an unwinnable game with 2 survivors with 4 gens.

So what was your hardest challenge so far, that you believe should have been easy normally.

If I'm just going by hardest that I didn't believe would be easy...blinding the killer while having a survivor on their shoulder. Actually all flashlight challenges were difficult for me as I never use them even with several thousands of hours under my belt.

That Spine Chill challenge. Not getting hooked once is pretty difficult if you are not a stealth gamer. At least for me it wasn't that easy. I am not a super pro. Got it after the 6th game.

As silly as it sounds the "break 8 pallets/kick gens in one game" actually took me 3 attempts. I built a pallet freddy build, burnt a game offering, got brutal strength and pop, and then proceeded to go against survivors who wouldn't ever throw pallets at all. 2 games i only got 7 and those where gen kicks, it was maddening

I actually thought that was gonna be difficult. Went fully immersed, but eventually I got in a really long chase and got downed. But my friend who I was playing with had the new perk I believe it's called Break Out. They let themselves get downed, to make sure I got off the killer shoulders. It was all good. Though I thought that would be more difficult than it actually was, instead of being easy.

That sounded difficult to me, it kind of was tbh. But I managed to do it on my first try. I equipped Windows of Opportunity, and made it my one and only goal of getting the killer to chase me, and to drop pallets on them. Every single pallet on the map was gone right when I finished it, at least...I couldn't find anymore pallet's auras. lol

Most of level 4 challenges I managed to get in one or two matches. The spinechill was a bit lucky, but with key and Spinechill, Lightweight, Empathy and Alert I was able to know where the killer is so still being able to work on gens. For the 4 pallets I just needed a styptic agent. Decided to risk to take the hit, don't throw before the swing starts. Just once I got the stun before I was hit, for the other tries I had healed up after the hook or used the styptic, enough free stuns available.

The one I needed several matches for was the 4 basement sacrifices. Ruined by hatch escapes, DCs or simply gate escapes. I tried 3 different killers in about 12 matches I think. Got it on infiniite Myers then on first try then, but got lucky because the first guy DC'd while on the hook, that still counts.

STILL haven't gotten the trapper ones. How hard is to get 4 traps in a single match?!!?

4 pallet stuns. Red rank killers respect pallets the majority of the trials and hardly anyone was running spirit fury + enduring combo.

Flashlight blind the killer. Screw that challenge. I genuinely believe that if a survivor blinds a killer during the pick up animation it should free the survivor being picked up. It's utter nonsense having a .2 second window to actually get the blind off.

That's a very easy challenge. Just kill two of the survivors and convince the remaining two to farm bloodpoints. They'll step in your traps a dozen times if you want them to.

I'm going to say the NOED challenges. It shouldn't be during the endgame collapse, since if you're not farming, then it's really hard to do.

It also shouldn't use a perk that survivor mains hate. It's the equivalent of a DS challenge for survivors. People hate to deal with it.

If you place creative traps that survivors will often not expect, then it's an easier challenge than most. Same with 6 traps in a match.

Get chased by the killer and drop 15 pallets. Killers tunneling someone else who's dropping the pallets first and I don't want to use them up so early on.

4 pallet stuns for me. Started it after rank reset, every killer was respecting pallets. Had to camp them and take hits at a pallet to get stuns

Normally, when I run Trapper, I get 5 or more traps a game. I'd say at least a solid 4 average. So when I first started working on the X amount of traps challenge, I was expecting to get it done quick. Then I hit a massive dry spell where only 1 Trap was hit in 4 games. Was still 3-4k'ing each match, but no traps going off. WTH?!

Took a break, went to Doc and Pig for a bit. Came back and got 8 traps in the next game. I could not pick them up out of the traps fast enough. It was like fishing with dynamite.

Now I'm not saying it's easy, but killing all four survivors in the basement gave me more trouble than I bargained for. I almost got it my first game. Three dead in the basement, one player left. It of course was a flashlight-spamming Blendette who was waiting at the hatch instead of helping her team. I managed to get there first and close it, and I downed Blendette. Unfortunately I only had Tier 1 Agitation and no Iron Grasp, so she kept wiggling off of my shoulder at the basement steps and running to the opposite corner of the map. She died to EGC and then gloated about keeping me from getting the challenge done.

Took me about four or five more games in order to get it done since I kept getting bad basement spawns. I was able to trick the last survivor with the two Demogorgon portals around the basement trick after I hooked her last teammate. That team was actually really nice and congratulated me for getting the challenge and wished me happy holidays. Wish I ran into players like them more often.

Tbh, none of them really (at least all the ones I've done and I don't plan to do most of the killer ones honestly). I'm not that good at the game so it's the opposite for me, numerous challenges I thought would be super hard just weren't.

The stun killers 4 times one. Sounds easy, but once killers see you're trying to drop pallets on them, then they start respecting. Took me 3 hours to get it.

    Surviving 5 Games

Math based on escape rates ways it shouldn't take more than 12 matches.

I'm not the best survivor D:
