Hatch Closing - End Game Collapse
Feedback ONLY:
I got to try out the ECG back when you did a beta and felt this was MORE fair to both sides, than it is now. Yes, hatch stand offs took forever and sometimes one side or the other had to DC. I feel that closing the hatch SHOULD be removed and instead revisited for staff discussion.
- A suggestion would be to use the exit gate to trigger ECG and the hatch remains OPEN. With the killer activating the exit gate. There are 2 points of access that are OPEN. This means the killer is IN control of the situation.
- Hatch may NO longer be closed.
- Balance suggestions: The remaining player would suffer the exposure status effect.
- Scratch marks would no longer be VISIBLE to the killer.
- ECG needs to be 4 minutes. NOT 2.

This is horrible...I'm going to be blunt about it..the egc is already almost completely harmless as is..the devs were too scared to do anything fun with it..but this just makes survivors have godlike power in the end game as the killer loses all tracking and has two ways they can escape with no counters or balances in exchange for exposed..its too biased to survivor so I'll be the first to tell you this would never make anything good come from it

Customer service says to apply feedback on their forums. and to introduce discussions on "discussions" threads. Sorry not going to reply on other player's opinions. If the company wants player opinions they can have an email address. Sorry I don't care about other's opinions. It may sound harsh or not polite. But I am not here to discuss. Otherwise I would have posted in the "discussion' section.

This is an open forum - everyone is allowed to comment on the threads on the forum @InnCognito please do not try to exclude people from commenting, that's not something that's appreciated here. Feeback posts are like any other discussion, people are free to give feedback on your idea - that's how forums work.

This is a terrible idea, just, all of it sorry. There is no point in changing those elements of the game, they are perfectly fine, it's not what the devs should aim for if they want to balance the game.The only purpose of EGC is pressure, that's all.

Response to Mandy;
Not to be rude here;
I went and did what your customer service said. If I had feedback about something . post on the forum. About every piece of feedback here seams to be subject to scrutiny and a panel of players with different opinions. So it doesn't exactly make for "feedback". Everyone perceives the world different and if we saw the world all the same way. Nothing would get done.
Story time;
Im the person that found a security leak on "certain popular SEARCH-engine". I emailed said major search engine company about it several years back and said "hey this is MY findings and this what you NEED to fix". I did it under an alias, so not to humiliate the company.
Their response was to use their forums,. because they didn't want to read my email. So I used a forum and posted the problem and my findings to fix it again. about 20-50 people posted that "this wasn't a thing" and so did staff. 3 months later i notified the US government on this issue, they went and stepped in because of the security issue.
Guess what. NO more search engine account profiles. Had the issue been fixed SOONER and not under scrutiny by mob rule . we'd still have the profiles up and things would have been patched and they wouldn't of have faced legal action.
Just saying that mob rule doesn't always fix things. It might not always be fun what I have to post. But I have to look at problems and cant always make every solution fun and exciting. If this is how things are run. and everything is under scrutiny like this. My posts of feedback isn't going to help anything here.and just the same problems that need to be addressed, Could be addressed.
In short text;
There is a DC epidemic and I'd be happy to help. I shelled out some coin for the game and I am giving an opinion why I don't buy additional expansions anymore like i use to. Im sure other players have various feelings of this as well. Thats great. I'd personally not care to talk with them on this specific feedback issue, and would rather directly submit my experience as a player. Without hearing about others opinions, unless I so chose to do so.
I use to email BHVR on feedback and they wanted me to move from emails to forums.
The harsh response is.
The players didn't pay for my copy of the game, and they are certainly welcome. to interject their opinion on their playtime experience as well. But as for using my feedback as a sounding board to disagree. I mean... I am sure you see it from my point of view.
To finalize the discussion: I mean I personally don't go around and buy many copies of games. I play them until the game probably wears out (lolz old hard drives) and so I usually never want to see a game go offline, because of something that made players mad and and left.
If there is an email line. Id be more than happy to submit responses that way instead.
Thank you - InnCognito
