I just have to laugh. An call a lot of people out. When you play of game solo you are going into the game expecting to play alone. You are thinking of syf where you can rely on friends. When you play a solo game remember that all other players are solo as well. Solo game mode is made for a challenge as there’s no voice chat. Preety much if you want to win (as all and I mean all the other survivors will do the same) is use everyone as bait as you creep around an do generators( be good at skill checks) an have a perk to see killer so you can rotate as he gets near. And crouching is your best friend. Hiding an patiently waiting play big roles as well. If they see you out of nowhere, no they’re not cheating they can just see the trail you leave behind you as you run forgetting it does that like an idiot. (Crouching is strength) Make sure there’s always one other person alive as your chances of winning dwindle close to nothing so meaning get it done fast and leave or die. due to door camping killers. That’s some basics figure the rest out for your self. But seriously everyone needs to stop whining about solo mode. I get to rank 1 every season with no problems only playing solo. No solo doesn’t need a patch or nerf. You idiots need to realize solo is exactly what it says. You have no friends only you. They may be of help to you sometimes but very rarely. Solo is for you to survive. Realize it’s not swf And accept it. For the gamers that can’t do it your self and need or want to play with friends, that is why survive with friends was made. So either get good or stop complaining, because some of us are amasing at solo

Holy that was hard to read, as in I couldn’t even finish it. I’m assuming you don’t play high rank play as you’ve stated that crouching is my best friend and just use my fellow survivors as bait. Though a valid way to win (sometimes), but that won’t get you far in high rank games. I’m not going to run urban evasion, I’m going to get good at wasting a killers time, cause the rest is easy.
I bet you’re an amazing solo player for your rank, but you didn’t even describe any faults or balance related issues, for the most pasty, just basically told me what I already know, or gave your opinion.
Also, just because I queued as a solo survivor doesn’t mean I won’t encounter SWF in my team...
It seems you have a lot to learn about this game before you can ridicule someone else’s opinions and facts.

I always use kindred but just unlocked Aftercare and it's very good also for solo survivors. Also using Better together so right now I feel a part of something in the games, not just a player doing his thing but part of a group. And also now I'm rank 2 so I feel after playing this game for 3 months I'm getting pretty good although I can't loop the killer, and I don't think I want to either :)

Well, if you don’t know looping, you are gonna have to rely on someone on your team to do that. As a solo survivor, that’s odds I’d rather not take.
I can loop a killer, but I don’t want to have to waste a perk slot for perks that do nothing with a full SWF. Those perks you mention are decent as solo, but the fact that SWF get comms, information from those comms, and that extra perk slot, it makes it unfair for the people who play solo. It’s either waste a perk slot, or stay oblivious.

getting close to 1 year later and Solo vs SWF is still in the favor of SWF.
playing solo is and always will be at this rate the hardest and most frustrating way to play

Like some people say the real problem is matchmaking. Potatos survivivor got to red rank being carried. 90% us surviors no think they just shift w, press E , ds umbrecable combo, camp palets and m1. Dev don balance the game for top players because of this massive survivivor potatoes players in the game. Balance the game for high skill players and 95% of game will be 4kill

Do you play swf because rarely have I ever been in one that just knows all the information like that I think you might be misinformed and not educated on this toxic I play alot of swf and its not how u say it is. Its more like we just say where the killer is or someone says if the killer is chasing them or asking for help to lose the killer. Besides that there isn't just a big flow of information. Sometimes but often not the difference is that swf helps each other solo does not if anything solo should be able to see each others auras that might help and make the killers a lil faster maybe for solo.

SoloQ has gotten so bad that I'm considering becoming a killer main. I've had more fun games as a killer where I got zero kills than I've had as a survivor all week.
I didn't want to sink to the level of using second chance meta perks but I don't see any other option anymore.

I play solo Survivor (not as often as Killer) but its rather chill not playing stressful games tryin to squeeze out as much seconds before going down and then browsing reddit / forum or watching otz stream while being camped :D
The only frustrating part is when you are camped (with kindred) and instead of doing gens they unhook you infront of killer to get downed again ... just do gens and leave you goblins ^^

Played solo since I got this game 3 years ago. It's perfectly fine, it you are competent as a lone wolf, you can do well.

Cool thing with being solo is you can just leave and let them die with no regrets because ive seen so much time: they will use you if they need to.
