Dead By Daylight is a pretty huge game considering how relatively few files there are to download and how mediocre it is graphically. It's just not well-optimised, I suppose.
On my computer, the DBD game folder is about 30GB, so make sure you have at least that much space free on your machine. If you're saying that the initial download is 15GB (it's been so long since I downloaded it originally that I don't remember whether that was my experience), then if anything you should be prepared for the game to generate more files and increase in size after you install and run it for the first time.

My internet clocks at about 700MBs-400MBs I believe? At least that's from what the package claims... before, my download speeds at 2MBs or 1.5MBs... with the actual download speed being 600KBs if i'm lucky.
But thanks to an upgrade to our internet, 1GB now only takes less than 5 minutes. But here's the thing, despite 700MBs or 400MBs being your download speed, the real download speed is subjective... depending on if you're connected to a LAN line from your Router to your PC, or if you're going off of Wifi that's far away or close.
Going off of a google download speed test, my download speed is about 17MBs per second. The upload speed... didn't really come up for some reason, but I don't really need that for this question. And since Steam isn't the greatest for downloading files for... some reason... this could be less or the same depending on if anyone else is using the internet (which my internet ignores) or how your internet handles Steams file downloads.
basically...
With my old DSL 3MBs download speed with Steam download reducing that to 600KBs... it used to take me about idk... 2-3-4 hours to download 1 GB? If my memory is correct. If you're using a 50MB wifi connection while downloading from steam... it'll prolly take you like, 1-2-3 hours? Since my DSL used a LAN line as well from the Router to PC... despite being a terrible download speed in-general... and since you're using Wifi to do this, it might be worse or the same... maybe.
But basically, you'll be there for a bit... but not all day no... it never took me ALL DAY to download 1 GB, which is usually the update size...
But... you're downloading 30 or 15 GBs... depending on if you're downloading DLC or just the base-game... maybe it's less, or 30-15, I don't know for sure. But I know this, if it does that 30-15, or even 10 or 5, you'll be there for more than a few hours... depending on if that 50 MBs is the download speed... or the internet package speed, and converting that to Steams download speed will reduce it.
If it's 50MBs of download speed, than you'll 100% be more than fine lmao... but I doubt that since that would mean that Cafe has like a 1GB download speed package, which I highly doubt.
So you'll probably get like 5MBs of download per second from 50, or 3, and converted to steam makes it like... 2 or 1? or 3?
