Clown is actually ok in red ranks NOW

Yeah, I can assure you that what I'm saying right now is true.

Red ranks aren't actually red ranks because everyone can rank up very easily, that's why you can play every killer you want without being stressed by gens. Now I understand why devs have made this change.

I was playing with this build: ST:BL, Ruin, PGTW, Barbecue & Chilli, with these add-ons: Ether 10 Vol% (Moderately increases Intoxicated Effect duration.) and Solvent Jug (Intoxicated target suffers from the Exhausted Status Effect for 30 seconds). Solvent Jug is the main add-on in this build because I don't need to worry about Dead Hard while in chase, and with Ether 10 Vol% I can catch them very fast.

The most intense game I had so far was on "The Game". I hooked everyone twice and I killed only 2 of them, but they played very well.

What do you think?

While it's true that messed up ranks can result in chill games, doesnt really say much about balance. Sure you can have a chill game when one of the survivors you went against decided its a good idea to bring their newbie friends with them. In those cases, you could play M1 Huntress and never throw a hatchet and still win. Its the games where people are actually going against opponents of appropriate skill lvl that balance becomes an issue.

I dont understand the devs for exactly that reason you mentioned.

"Red ranks aren't actually red ranks because everyone can rank up very easily, that's why you can play every killer you want without being stressed by gens..."

I dont think thats good for the game tbh. And there is more to it. If you always play and played red rank killer you may find it easier. But lower rank killers often face higher ranked survivors because of the bad matchmaking. Your game qualitiy as survivor suffers a lot especially as solo. Players get to red ranks and get the feeling they dont belong there.

I think you can perform good with any killer no matter the rank. It depends on how much time you invest in learning and "master" that killer. If you enjoy playing the clown Im happy for you. I like people playing different killers, it brings diversity. But I dont think you can justify a bad rank and matchmaking system with being able to play clown at red ranks.

They messed up ranks atm. So winning in red ranks means even less. I played a few demogorgon matches yesterday and i won a few. I lost a few too. I won because of bad survivors. I lost because of good survivors. Muddying the ranks because you can't balance your own game is NOT a good strategy BHVR.
