It changed your current Obsession to whoever you just hooked?
So imagine you chase Survivor A, who is not your Obsession, and put them on a hook.
As soon as they go into the Hooked health status, they become the Obsession, no matter if Survivor B, C or D was the Obsession before.
It might remove an incentive to camp them to the 2nd state, but i might be overlooking stuff, so i'm asking.
Oh, and of course, you'd get the Token and then they'd become the Obsession.
If it's the other way around, you'd never get a Token. 😅
P.S. Now read my accepted answer so you can see me realize something.

Hah, my brain somehow skipped the fact that you don't get a Token for them going into phase 2.
I didn't mean for this as a big change that was needed, just as a cherry on top.
But now that my brain remembered that fact, it does seem like an unnecessary addition. 😅

I mean, than it would be a lot easier to gain tokens for Killers that don't camp or tunnel. The tokens would be easier to gain, and as such you'd get the full 8 stacks a lot faster.
I see no down-side to this for Killer, but for Survivor it would be a nightmare for the Plague builds... kinda... not really, cause if you can consistently down Survivors, than this isn't a huge OP change.
This change... doesn't really do much of anything tbh. (Not to sound rude, it just doesn't really add much of anything if you already down people normally).

You should never camp them with dying light. #########
It hurts you if they get to stage 2 on first hook. You need to hook as many non obsessions as possible
