Should killers be the only ones who can switch load outs in the lobby?
Survivors don’t need to switch their load outs on the lobby screen, especially if they’re already in a group because they have the initial group screen and all the time in the world to talk or plan before queuing up. Killers are the ones that have under a minute to lock in and have a suitable load out for the match.
This will also curb killers lobby dodging and maybe even lower toxicity - if survivors can’t pull a fast one at the last second, killers are more likely to stick with the lobby.

This would only hinder solo survivors further should they choose to communicate with each other in the lobby screen.

Not every Survivor is trying to fill in a specific niche for their playstyle. They might have also forgotten to add an offering, or swap out a perk.
As for switching lobbies, Killers are more likely to do it if they see 3-4 people load in at the same time over the items they're carrying. Or switch to Franklin's.
BOTH sides get chances to tweak their loadout before the game search, during the game search and in the lobby. If you can't finish your loadout before that on either side, then that's a you problem.

What you say is just true for SWF, not for solo queue. Btw killers can also last-second-switch. Like when they suddenly see 4 flashlights or toolboxes, switch to your prebuild Franklins basement Bubba.
But actually I would like another warning signal, when time to finish runs out (at the moment like an additional audio cue when you cannot unready anymore at 0:15) Did not happen just once to me that I was spending bloodpoints and suddenly had to play with a naked Lv 25 survivor.

The thing is when they do that last second switch you don't have time to open your killer panel and change killer, as it's at the last second. If you're holding killer panel open you're hoping to hear the survivors doing a player change while it's blocked. Maybe it could meet a mid-way: at 15 seconds survivors no longer can while killers can't at 5 like usual.

Simple. Survivors lock in at 30 seconds and killers get until the normal 5 second countdown.
