NOED Basekit
Alright here me out guys , what if NOED was basekit ?
I believe this would give survivors a great second objective(cleansing bones) while at the same time slowing down the game .
Remember survivors would be able to get rid of it by simply cleansing all unlit totems

that'd just make me feel cheap which is why I don't use the perk in the first place

No.... Rather add some kind of parts for survivors to gather in order to get the gens done... Or something like that
3 -
If they added a totem counter too i would be ok with it
Noed is a lot less cheap if you know it's coming
And it will ad some strategy to survivors side, do gens as fast as possible but give killer noed? Or waste time on totems to deny noed?
Being as hated noed is though, i don't see this happening

I'd be more interested in seeing noed keeping the one hit down effect, but maybe lose the movement speed bonus. Then have it basekit that for every totem remaining on the map in the endgame, the killer move 1-2% faster.
It would still be an advantage, and an incentive to deal with dull totems rather than ignore them, but would be less of a mandatory objective.

Noed is for noobs

One of the biggest crutches in the game for free? Yeah, sure.

As survivor, I wouldn't mind it
As killer, I'd feel a bit cheap if it actually activates. Also, it will be an indirect nerf to other hex perks like devour, which rely on the element of surprise and survivors not looking for totems. On the other hand, perks like thrill could become the new meta as a way to slow down games

Surely not. We dont have to give some ez win to killers.

It's worth mentioning that this would proc most games at lower rank, simply because the average survivor at low levels are still struggling with skill checks nvm being unable to manage the many 'insta-find', 'one-shot' and cleansing mechanics in the game. So it simply wouldn't get cleansed.
And from what I've seen average killers can 4k provided they can chase (predict movement etc.) at these ranks. Because new players dont know how to loop/juke. I'm already telling new players not to bother with this game unless they're interested in playing killer, because they'll just get farmed at lower levels.
The OP's idea would just make it worse.

yeah, youre quite right. It's like another one of those things where experienced players wouldn't care and new players would have a miserable experience with. i didn;t think about that

Once all the gens are powered, 1 hit downs SHOULD be basekit. No speed burst, but the killer should go into some kind of rage mode or something. Let's face it: Most are running adrin,ds,and DH. Your chances are still good. Make the killers scary again man. Where's there horror and scare factor at anymore? Afraid of a lil challenge??

I still don't know how people who use dead hard can shame noed, same perk tbh one grants a free escape/second chance if you will the survivors objective is evasion/generator while another grants a somewhat free down the killers objective being sacrifice.

Same answer I give for making Kindred basekit.
No

that would punish solos way more and keep buffing swf.

But if NOED is basekit, and then you equip Hex: Haunted Ground & 3 other Hex Perks, then those Hex Perks take up all Totems and then there's no room for NOED anymore. 🤔

This just nerfs NOED in reality.
There has been little complaints about NOED of late probably due to the totem perks in the last dlc's so survivors are probably doing the bones already.

Yeah, what a great idea!!! Lets make the cheapest and most hated perk in the game into the basekit? What could go wrong right? Right!?

this would just end up nerfing NOED to the point where it would basically never activate anymore.
even worse, it would draw attention to totems and therefore screw over other Hex perks - especially those that need charging like Devour Hope or Huntress Lullaby. so it would be a passive nerf to all those perks that really wouldnt need it.
and honestly, do you really think that this would slow down the game properly?
all this would encourage would be stealthy behavior and a totem hunt at the beginning of the round. if all 4 survivors dedicate their early game to totems - ya know, the time where the killer has literally no map pressure at all, they would easily get 3 or 4 done even before the killer was able to hit anyone.
this would just leave us with slightly longer matches and a huge passive nerf to all totem perks.
imo it would not be worth it.

No I don't see any reason why this should be added.
Also the idea of totems being the way you slow down the game isn't great. They take no time to cleanse anyway. If there was a totem counter then it would be a bit better but I still don't think this would work.

In F13 Jason enters rage mode late in game, which allows him to instantly break through doors and some walls.

DS basekit. Gives a great incentive for killers to not hook

It would literally only be beneficial for m1 killers.
It's definitely inconsistent between killers (NOED is great for Doctor, but Huntress or Plague, it's be not as beneficial).
Not only that, but NOED shouldn't really even be in the game in it's current state. Rewards bad gameplay (no gen pressure).

I wouldnt say that , it rewards killers that go against lazy survivors.
