You finally trapped those pesky survivors in one last trick. Puts a hex in basement, when cleansed basement hooks are taken by the entity and put in the middle of the map. This effect lasts for 50/75/100 seconds.

    But totems never spawn in the basement? So survivors would know not to cleanse it. Plus I don’t think it could be designed that way to have the hooks spawn mid game.

    would make the hooks useless because they aren't in the basement anymore, plus, even if it did make a difference, they could just not cleanse the totem.

    The idea for a totem to spawn in the basement would be good. But better idea for it. What if this perk teleported survivors to the basement and the entity blocked off the exit so they can't escape and when that happens the killer will get a sound notice and see their auras in the basement. The entity blocking them off from escaping will last 25/35/45 seconds. Based on the tier if it's tier 2 or 3 it'll grab the survivor who broke the totem and the survivor with the most progress done in the basement. That'd be cool. But incredibly challenging to code.
