@devs - Clown
Is there any plans in the near future to balance the clown. I play both doctor and clown, and the doctor could have waited. Clown doesn't have any pressure.

Given their track record, if the killer is not "annoying" for survivors, they won't be touched. Clown isn't seen as "annoying" and more like an easy win for survivors. So he is probably seen as perfectly balanced and won't be changed for some time.

I am sure he is in-line for a buff/rework. I am personally hoping Legion get some love next, but we shall see.
Point being, not sure if it has been officially announced but I am sure he is on their radar.

I do not think so. Freddy was not annoying for Survivors. He had one of the lowest Kill rates and was miserable to play as.

Feel like one of Clown's biggest problems is just how easy it is to keep track of where he is due to being able to hear screams across the map from his bottles. If I hear random survivor screaming at the beginning of the match without the madness effect around player icons at the bottom...I know its Doc and I know exactly WHERE he is without even having to see him. Its like giving every survivor in the match Alert 2.0. Loud noises from nurse screams or Billys chainsaw didnt matter much because that information was instantly outdated when they moved from spot to spot. Loud noises from SLOW killers though who couldnt even be sneaky is the nail in the coffin.

People felt the aura reading and heavily reduced action speed was annoying, which is why that got removed with the rework.

It wasnt the sole reason for the rework as a whole, but it was a large part of it. I remember hearing during a dev stream them say they removed the aura reading because some people didnt know that Freddy COULD read their aura while they were asleep. At the time I thought that was a weird reason... A survivor being uninformed about a killers base power being the reason for a change, not even an obscure addon or anything.

Idk, I think if they left him in that state any longer, people would have rioted. I do remember being awfully confused about why Freddy always found me when I was a baby Survivor tho

The devs only care about making the game fun for survivor, they don't give half a crap about killer unless it's nerfing them.

While I enjoy new Freddy, I've been a Freddy main for over a year now. When they announced his rework, I decided to take my addons of choice (class photo and nancy's masterpiece) into abunch of farm maps to TRY to get rotten fields (which I considered strong for him). Heres a screenshot I took of the scorecard screen after a 2 minute game that resulted in a 4k with 5 gens to go...
Thought the black pip with no camping was worthy of a screenshot, lol.

Well, we all know the rank system punishes hyper efficiency.
Old Freddy was GOOD, in the right hands. Problem was, that power was locked behind too many bars and had too many restrictions.

From what the developers have said, there are plans to rework/update every killer at some point in the future, particularly the older ones (which is one of the reasons why Doctor was prioritised).
So the answer to your question is, as far as we know, there are no plans to update Clown in the near future, but I'm sure he will get looked at at some point. And for all we know, he could be next on the list after Doctor 🤷

Simple buff before rework
- bottle speed
- decrease reload time

As a Clown main I am pretty happy with how he is. But let him carry one more bottle or two as base and he will be one of the best killers in the game. And would be nice to give him a add-on that makes the smoke green and that make survivors drop their items just like Frankins.
And he's laugh could be even louder just to make survivors more salty 😀

Actually if you go back to the beginning Freddy was the first super "annoying" killer that survivors demanded get changed. Almost immediately Freddy was nerfed to the lowest threatening killer and was not used as much as other player choices afterwards.
Now as to why he got buffed afterwards we can only guess. Mine is that since Freddy was a licensed character, BHVR was obliged to fix what they had done and bring credibility back to the property.
With Legion I don't think they will do anything, they'll just move on with new chapters and killers. I'll bring him out once in awhile to go through the BP tree and fill out the missing perks. With my limited use of him I experience more DCs in him than any other killer. I missed most of what happened early on by my feel is that survivors still hate the Legion after all these months, even though he's weak. Buffing him will only bring back more DCs like before, when it was common.

If you listen to their streams then you'll know what their objective is: two escapes and to kills per match on average.
Right now the stats show that all killers except for nurse are killing more than 50% of survivors. That means overperforming.
What we should expect going forward is that all killers except Nurse will be brought down in performance level.
It's not that they don't care, rather they have a design goal.

Then why do killers derank for getting only 2 kills? Also stats are and always will be skewed by DC's.

I think they should remove his grunt when he vaults as well.
For the rest, his true issue is the lack of map pressure, I don't know what they could do about it.
