Ruin vs Huntress Lullaby

Another debate I see going around the community is the two Hex perks that slow the game down just a little bit. I cannot decide which is better they both have their pros and cons. Ruin helps new players in dbd with stopping generators being done with the regression being 5% but I have seen numerous people power through ruin and not care about it. Huntress lullaby's regression is 6% which is a bit more then ruin and it does mess with pros and noob survivors but I have seen super concentrated survivors power through huntress lullaby making it useless. So what do you guys think? Which is better and why?

    Hex: Ruin

Ruin is better at pro level because no matter how skilled the player, hitting Great Skill-Checks on a continuous basis is very difficult. Only a handful of people are skilled enough to achieve this, but for the vast majority of players Ruin does it's job and slows the gen progress down.

Huntress Lullaby is better as low ranks as it throws new/inexperienced players off-guard and causes them to panic (and miss more skill-checks), but Pros won't be phased. The issue with Huntress Lullaby is that it informs the Survivor it's in-game before it's even active, so even green rank players will see it coming a mile away.

Ruin is active at the start of the game, you need to power up lullaby by hooking people.

    Hex: Ruin

Ruin always does SOMETHING, even if it gets destroyed righ at the beginning of the match. Lullaby does not and can easily become a complete waste of perk slot.

    I'm sorry but :

who in their right mind would take Lullaby over Ruin ?

Lullaby is useless until half/end game, it can be broken at any time, and most of the time, it wont work because people know there's Lullaby on (and it can be completely useless if you take too much time to get hooks)

While Ruin, you dont have to do anything, and sometimes it will be their for the whole match.

So yeah, Ruin is better you dont even have to work for it.

Lullaby is very effective but takes so long to start being effective. Ruin is a slow down from the start. Lullaby always gets found and busted when I’ve tried to use it.

You know that with this Ruin change people are undoubtedly going to switch gen-slowdown perks.

Besides, people tend to pay more attention to the skill-check warning. Without that, people are constantly missing skill-checks. Even at 3 or 4 stacks it is extremely effective.
