Hitboxes
Is it just me or have hitboxes gotten progressively worse, I’ve always gotten hit through pallets, hatchets usually never hit me, but it’s to the point of where I’ll be hit when I’m behind the killer. And most killer mains can agree (especially nurses) that the hitboxes are the size of the map. Please tell me it’s not just me.

It has nothing to do with hitboxes.
It is related to ping.
The issue is from dedicated servers.

Yea, you may be right, I should never be lagging cause I have great internet, but nope.

As a Nurse main, no, I don't agree. My bonesaw often quite litterally goes through the survivor, but no hit gets registered.

I’ve seen weird phantom hits and hits that didn’t hit personally.

They could be on console. Only pc and switch have dedicated servers.

It's a fundamental flaw in the core mechanics of the game. There are very few actions that a player does such as vault, swing etc. - each one of those actions requires precise timings, and the developers can't figure out how to program the game's netcode and input controls to make it work. Maybe they'll figure it out one day.

It seems most times it's one of the other. Windows seem to be able to hit even though you're away from them, and some hits just seem to turn invisible despite being right in their face. I've had both Ghostface and Oni hit a survivor only for the weapon to either act as though I swung at air, or the survivor wasn't even there (Console btw)
