Killer add-ons aren't op l. Survs just need more add-ons

Imo most of the killer red and purple addons don't need a change but rather the survivors red and purple addons. All of them are just kinda underwhelming compared to killer addons especially with instaheal nerf the add-ons aren't really that amazing. There is only one purple/red add-on for tool both and it's gear which is good but if you miss skill checks it's over and even if you hit them it works on one gen and that's it. Or flash light red add-on. It's good don't get me wrong, but in grand scheme it doesn't do that much more. Keys have nice purple add-ons to keep you from losing them which I is definitely nice and nothing needed there given how good keys are. But med-kits. Instaheals were not super common but they were necessary. In egc if the killer tunnels your friend and downs them you could heal them 2 health states and let them escape which seems op but compared to killer add-ons not really. I just think survivors need more options to balance out just a little. Like take a killer like Freddy who is already really good. But he also has 4 purple add-ons and 2 red add-ons that's more than map and med-kit combined. Same with all other killers. Not to mention there is an ability for each killer but only 5 survivor items. If your not gonna add more add-ons then at least make more items.

We need some kind of power and/or new items. Incentives to bring certain items wouldn't make sense.

Instant heals deserved the nerfs and they are still powerful, especially the purple one. Most of the purple and red add-ons for killers are actually really mediocre.

Most red addons, as @Marcus mentioned, are not making the killer more powerful, but changing the gameplay style of the killers they're used on. For example, Nurse has Torn Bookmark and Matchbox. These change how nurse plays, as the Bookmark gives nurse 3 blinks, but limits how they are used (line of sight only), and Matchbox makes Nurse default speed faster, at the cost at a single blink.

They are not designed to be overpowered, and require skill to be able to use effectively.

However, survivor items and addons are insanely strong (not as strong as when instaheals were a thing, but still very strong) one of which can guarantee an escape of any survivor in the game with its mere presence. Survivors do not need more broken items. I would like to see more items for them to use, but not with overly strong effects attached to them.

I wish we could get more c

Game changing effects instead of game breaking effects. I like the new ultra rare ideas but the devs are kinda making them too weak

I agree. I wish they would buff the Matchbox and Fuming Mixtape to be honest, hose are way weaker than they deserve to be.

I personally think the oni's ultra rares need buffs. both of em. Why do I want an infectious fright that only works when i miss and only effects 12 meters. Like how the ######### can I actually use that add on.

I mean, there's no point to that addon... or the addon for demogorgon where you can see injured auras. Quite A few of them need buffs/changes... and some killers need red addons to begin with.

Playing killer is not exceptionally hard. I admit I’ve not been to red ranks as killer but when I do play killer I always get at least two kills.

    Oh god.

    "Survivors need power"

    "Survivors need more addons"

Survivor is easy mode. Survivors need nothing more than what they have.
