Weren't devs working on a pizza delivery mode for dbd?

I remember during a dev stream devs confirmed they were testing a pizza delivery mode where the gens would be ovens or something and you had to deliver some pizzas

Am I going crazy or didn't devs said something like this some years ago?

    I'd sure as hell pay to have a meme mode like that. Slap on my Pizza Dwight outfit and play the Spider-Man 2 Pizza Delivery music on my phone to become one with the memes.

    That sounds hilarious, but perhaps a bit too easy? I wouldn't mind it, but I'm not sure if that'd ruin the dark tones. I've not been here for long so I wouldn't know if this is true or not

    That sounds amazing.

    They insist they don't want to do other game modes because it would split queues and cause a long wait time, but I would just do it like another game i played with low players did- there is like a 1 in 100 chance of a special game mode. So if you play long enough eventually a meme game would happen.
