Cleanse or don’t cleanse

Don't cleanse. And if your teammates do cleanse you just use one of the best DBD features ever implemented, leave match.

Don’t cleanse
I do cleanse when the last gen is half way done but only as far away from the exit as possible. And maybe if there is a nasty combination with Black Incense.

Corrupt purge is really op on The plague in my opinion, you need almost no aim. It can shoot over loops and over walls. The downside is that it can be harder to track survivors. It is like a Huntress with 1 shot axes just that the damage field is much larger if you know what I mean and requires less aiming.
When you are affected by Vile purge, the normal infection. You are like a Exposed survivor when fully infected that is easier to track, but much easier to loop in my opinion.

Don’t cleanse
i always cry out in pain when i see a blendette cleanse, cause i dared to touch her gen and she got 1% infection from it, therefore screwing the entire team, which (like me) was not cleansing, over.

Cleansing is akin to suicide. Teammates start cleansing even remotely early into the match, drop 'em and flop 'em like a boss. They're going down and taking you with 'em.

Cleanse
*Depending upon the circumstances.
It's up to your judgement. As a general rule, cleansing is a good idea in the endgame when the risk:reward ratio is at its lowest, or if someone else has cleansed (because at that point you're no longer denying her Corrupt Purge, you're just a one-hit down for no reason), or if you suspect she's running Black Incense.

Don’t cleanse
There's usually no point in cleansing, since you'll inevitably end up getting infected again 0.2 seconds later either by a teammate or working on a contagious gen, but if you MUST cleanse, make sure to do it at the fountain that is the furthest from where your team is. Not where YOU are, your team. So that means not next to somebody on the hook and near a 99'd gen, thank you.

Don’t cleanse
Try to stay healthy as long as possible, and never cleanse, except if you need to run through the plague to exit, or if everyone else cleanse without thinking

Cleanse
Cleanse. I play a bit of plague and it’s so nice for me when I get anti cleansers. You’re one tap and I can hear you puking every where, contaminating everything.

Not cleanse and you can say goodbye to stealth, healing and pallets (since people will waste them in no time).
Cleanse and you can say goodbye to your team since most people are not smart enough to go stealth mode when the Plague is powered up.
Both choises are wrong (and the reason I pretty much hate facing the Plague).
Jokes aside: Cleanse. Corrupt Purge is not as strong as everyone say and is countered by the most elemental stealth. Whenever I face no-cleanse teams it ends in a 4k.

Don’t cleanse
Never cleanse unless someone else is doing it (or when gens are done and the escape plan is obvious)

Don’t cleanse
Cleanse only in the corners of the map.

Don’t cleanse
It really depends, but you have to avoid cleansing as long as possible.

As an avid Plague player, the answer is certainly not as simple as "cleanse or don't cleanse." It changes very situationally.

If my team cleanse I dc. Not worth to play with someone who just lost us the game.
