I give up. I'm done with sweaty ass matches against try hard swf's and there bs coms. Uninstalled. Needed to free up space anyway. Lemme know when you fix sounds and make the game a lil more balanced around swf's. It's getting way to stressful to play as killer now, and I don't wanna play survivor, because it's a joke. Solo players and killers are SICK of tryhard swf's. Listen to the PLAYER BASE!

Good riddence I stopped playing killer a while ago other for the daily's. It's horribly unbalanced and I even Doubled popped rushing generator's against a poor ghostface. Sigh RIP killer.

I could care less about fame or what most this toxic community thinks about my post. This is the forums, and I have the right to post complaints about ACTUAL issues in the game. That's what the forums are for, not attacking people and being a moron. I guess I'm the first person ever to complain about swf's and the sound bug, right? These problems just don't exist. The game is perfect, right? The problem is you don't realize more and more people are doing the same as me, or just going to survivor, and you wonder why the que times take forever. But that's just a coincidence right? There's no shortage of killers because of the bs balance, matchmaking, and sound issue. I play on ps4. We (killers)suffer enough as is, but the sound bug is literally game breaking. Ive been playing for over 2 years, and I've seen little to no improvement to consoles version of this game. Everytime a new update comes out, it seems to break the game even more...

No, a try hard is someone who plays as toxic as they can to win, doesn't care one bit about there team unless it's swf's, and sucks all the fun out of the game. Glad to clear it up...

The devs did listen to the player base. When DbD launched SWF didn't exist and KYF was crap. The player base demanded a better way to play with friends and they went well out if their way to do so. But the community also didn't want to use KYF, they wanted group play in ranked or there would be hell.
Then came constant lobby hopping, review bombing, and endless forums complaints.
After a bit the devs caved in to the community demands and half assed a beta version of SWF ASAP to shut them up. Even after telling the community it would be buggy and it would break balance, the player base didn't care and got what they wanted. Group play in ranked matchmaking and every bug, break, issue, and problem that came with it.
This is a case of "be careful of what you wish for". The community got what they asked for and SWF is only the first one. Dedicated servers are another. Just look at how well those turned out.
It's no wonder most gaming devs dont listen to their communities. They often dont know #########.

Is it depending on the game or is depending on the person. I get told 'try hards' are people who aren't good at the game, but try very hard to win. Or sweaty people that try to win, no matter the cost.

I feel you, but i also think you are just really unlucky right now. According to BHVR, there is not so much SWF in this game as we think. If i remember correct, only 10% are 3 and less the 5% are 4 man teams.

You do realize that a very small percentage of players on DbD you go against are a 4 stack SWF, right? Not all of them are that difficult to even beat. And the only ones I really lose against are the stupidly good ones.

I mean, it's really as difficult as people make it seem to be to win against a SWF. Unless they're very optimal and know when to leave someone behind. But if I see that the people I'm going against are really good, then I have to rely on slugging (I don't normally enjoy doing it, but if I want to win and see the out come, then I want to see both sides at the best) and surprisingly, most of them don't get toxic about it. Because it comes down to knowing both sides want to win and are going to do w/e we can to do it. For me to consider a 4 stack SWF sweaty, I'd be looking at a map, flashlights, med kits and possibly a key. With object of obsession or w/e. BUT it is in the game. People need to learn how to adapt to those situations. Even as a killer main sometimes I play with my survivor friends so we can bully at times...it's how the game goes

Its all good. I stuck to my word and haven't even so much as thought of re-installing it. Just not worth it to me until the devs actually fix what's broken. I've been enjoying COD, GTA 5, and PUBG, and I used to think those games were toxic.. Bought the new cod about an hour ago, but didn't realize it's almost 70gigs.. Will play that tomorrow...lol. Sure there's some stressful matches in those games, but nothing like this game. Someone mentioned f13 too, and yeah, I still have that installed. I can still have fun playing that, even though it's deader than Ms Voorhees. At least there devs realized there was a balance issue and corrected it properly. No more bullying the momma's boy! Oh, and you can hit multiple people with swings... Hmmm...

You do have a right to post about complaints, but whining about the same thing everyone else whines about isn't very productive. But about SWFs, if they're really stomping you in most of your games maybe the problem lies with your gameplay and not the SWF 'try hard' squads, who are probably just outplaying you because they're better at the game.

Often if you go to SWF Playstation profiles they've got things like 'Juke Squad' and 'troll babykiller' in their descriptions. Along with a cap of an end-game screen with level 1 and 4 red emblems.

I also had this expirience, i was a demogorgon, just going around killin', and then i saw one of them tryhards, but obviously i did'nt know that.
But now here's the thing, as soon as i started chasing him, he just stops at a pallet, and sure, that is normal, but he just kept standing there, so i waited for him to leave... nope, and THEN it really happenend, he started T-bagging: in 2020! So i tried to shred him, but as excpected he dropped the pallet right on top of my head... and started t-bagging AGAIN. At this point i really was frustrated, so i broke the pallet, and THEN he started running. So I just wandered off, to find the rest working on the gens. And guess what? I got a notification behind me from the crows, i turned around, and he was FOLLOWING ME! I mean, who follows a killer? you should spend your time doing something usefull, not irritate the killer just trying to have some fun...
So i started chasing him again, because he was right behind me. And the first thing he does is going to a fence near a house (btw we were on the map of the shape, also known as michael myers) and he jumps at a vault area, so i clumb over it, and he was back at the other side... T-BAGGING! He just did'nt stop, so I tried, and tried, and tried, and he was still up t-bagging. So i ran off againg, trying to find the rest.
Of course i checked behind me, and of course, he was following me again, but i just did'nt care.
Eventually i found another survivor, wich i could actually catch. So, i picked em up, brought him to the hook... and could'nt hang him.
I was wondering why, i looked down, and guess what?! That same tryhard was sitting there, bodycamping the hook! And you can already guess what happend next... he t-bagged...
So anyway, i started slashing. Got him wounded, and he ran.
So, that's all i have to say, of course he did way more, but its just to much.
Anyway, i hope you understand my comment, and before anyone starts complaining i have to say this: It is surely ok to be good at a game, in fact, do what you want, but please do NOT disturb other players their expirience, it can be really frustrating for them.

The situation you described isnt an issue to begin with. You had a survivor who taunted you to chase them while they were doing literally nothing, the right thing is to either ignore them (treat them as afk players, as they are literally no threat to you) or use them to remove vital pallets from the area you are in and after breaking them continue pressuring generators.
I wish I would have only cocky survivors doing everything in their power to make me chase them without ever touching generators (not really, that would be boring and stale) .
Also thats not the issue OP is describing here anyway.
