So I need awnsers

Why is it that when I just get hooked the killer (usually a leatherface) sits there and stares at me while I am on the hook. Not to mention that this is when I just did 1 gen.

Did you see Texas Chainsaw Massacre? That's kind of his thing. :p

Seriously though, face-camping happens occasionally. They are waiting for people to come and rescue you. Most good killers don't do it...unless you really annoy them. :p

Usually, it's for one of two reasons. First, newer players especially often get scared to leave the hook area because they're scared of allowing the hooked survivor to get saved. Doing so can seem very counter-intuitive until you get used to the idea of hooking everyone three times and using the time in between hooks to put pressure on the remaining survivors. So they facecamp to make it impossible for you to be saved, and sometimes because they're hoping to use you as bait to catch your teammates. If they go a few metres away behind a tree or something and watch you, for example, they may be trying to catch out your teammates with Insidious.

The second reason, which is usually the case for more experienced killers, is that they know full well that facecamping is a terrible strategy and in most cases amounts to throwing the game, but they're okay with that as long as they can make sure you die. Usually it's because you've caused them a lot of annoyance or frustration (typically just by being too good or difficult to catch). Some killers have a personal vendetta against certain items, like flashlights. And some tend to facecamp during the endgame because it's the most surefire way to secure at least one kill at that point.

If you’re a Jane, your thicc thighs have their own gravitational pull and keeps the killer there.

If you’re a shirtless David, they’re thinking dirty thoughts.

If you’re a Meg, they just hate you.

If you’re a Dwight, they regret hooking you and don’t want you to die alone.

If you’re a Claudette, they have to keep their eyes on you so you don’t disappear. They know you have superior cloaking tech.

If you’re Quentin, they want to make sure they put you out of your misery.

If you’re Nea, they don’t like Your plaid shirt.
