Is Nurse still the strongest killer?

Even with nerfed nurse, I find her pretty easy to play with and can get fast 4ks within red ranks. However, I mean it when I say that I’ve rarely seen her play against me as survivor (am also rank 1 as survivor). I have seen that a lot of people complain about her and say that she’s bad now and unable to apply significant pressure. I disagree, but was wondering what your opinions were. Is Nurse still the strongest or not? If you don’t think she is, who do you think is the strongest killer in the game right now?

If I'm being honest, you have to be GOOD at nurse for her to be the strongest. Basically, they gave her a higher skill cap so people who were decent at best can't really do what they did before. Which, honestly I think is a good thing. Same with spirit. Spirit is still good but you can't snowball win like you used to imo

Theoretically, yes. She has the tools to down survivors quickly in theory. With the changes, its much harder to actually put theory into practice.

Red ranks aren't even red ranks anymore lmao. They are just a bunch of urban evading claudettes and neas in my games. Also what addons do you use,and how many hours do you have on her is a big part in how you play nurse which you yourself probably know already. From my experience you need hundreds of hours with nurse to be even decent with her, especially now with the recharging blinks which slow you down alot.I agree she is still the strongest killer, but how high the skillcap is for her just isn't worth the time and investment into learning her IMO and you are better off playing other killers(freddy, billy, huntress etc.)

Basekit nerf is punishing you for making mistakes, (and kinda hindering her BEST MAP MOVEMENT in the game) but she's for sure strongest killer but only in good hands

and i like how baby spirits now cant find you because of that bodyblock nerf

Unfortunately, this is so very true. I remember getting into red ranks by playing Plague before they reworked the ranking system. And this was without using dying light, thano combo. However, anyone can get into red ranks and basically play against the same people they were prior. Granted, even before the ranking system change I feel like some people didn't belong in red ranks

I think Spirit is the strongest at the moment, perhaps nurse is still strong but it's trully annoying to play as. I played yesterday with the two cooldown add-ons so it was like she was on PTB (not exactly the same as the cooldown is 4,1 secs)... and you know what? It feels better, I don't know why the devs thought it was a good idea to change the cooldown from 4 secs to 6 secs. Anyway, I think what the devs should have changed is making the fatigue a bit longer, not changing the cooldown.

Pretty much, and now with the way rank reset works, alot more people that shouldn't be in red ranks, will be there considering to get back where they were they need to play less(If you are a red rank you go from 1,4-5 which is just not enough at all and that goes for all different colors of ranks except brown i think)

Which sucks. I've made it to rank 2 as killer but honestly, it just wasn't really fun. I had a decent amount of knowledge on the killers I normally play as. But not exactly confident enough to run some of them without ruin. And I feel the difference between a good killer and a great killer is the ability to play without ruin. Granted, some killers you do need to rely on ruin (even though at times I wonder why I even run it since some games it lasts 16 seconds or less)

I'd say no because of several factors. Keep in mind that I'm not rating her based on her theoretical ceiling. I'm rating her based on her average output as someone who consistently holds their own with current Nurse at red ranks.

Maps: Line of sight and mobility are huge factors. Lery's and Hawkins will hurt her tremendously, unlike Spirit. Sanctum Of Wrath and Family Residence (to a lesser extent) are virtually unplayable due to blink deadzones. The cooldown greatly hurts her mobility on larger maps.

Chase: Still has ridiculous chase potential, but again, certain maps hurt her unlike other killers in her tier. The cooldown really sucks if everyone has Dead Hard and you don't have cooldown add ons.

    Tracking: Horrible.

Basically, if we go solely by her ceiling in an ideal scenario, yes, she's the strongest. But that's not how we judge any other killer. I'd say Spirit is the strongest because she's more well rounded and does 90% of what Nurse does without the downsides.

Depends if the survivors know how to play against nurse, It is literally down to the survivors.

Do they run in straight predictable paths or do they do random things when they reach cover?

Do they use the new nurse husk to avoid being hit or do they not even see it and don't know it exists?

Do they sit on a gen like a moron when they hear the heartbeat, of do the sprint off early for maximum time waste as nurse is terrible at catching up.

I was watching a streamer play her yesterday at red ranks, and i couldn't believe how bad the survivors were, they were predictable af, did not try to 360 every hit (works against nurse sometimes) and used lockers...

Red ranks are meaningless since the rank reset changes, couple that with the fact survivors pip by picking their nose and passing wind, and every noob will make it to reds.

I have a friend who's stupid good on nurse and can still destroy without using add ons or perks. And I believe that if a killer is put in the hard category, it should be just that, hard. Giving the person using the killer and is good at it more rewarding.
