Don't change Hex: Ruin

The devs think that it is OP to have a passive perk being so valuable. The perk is just meta, because it gets people off gens. It gives killers more time to setup their game (Trapper, Hag, Freddy etc.). Killers can also benefit from this perk to find survivors faster, because they run around searching for it. Ruin stops the early gen-rush when 2-3 survivors spawn together and hesitates them to do the first gen in 30 secs.

With the new change basically killers will start with 4 gens from now on. Survivors will not search for it any more (until maybe lategame) and perks and items to find totems will be even more useless.

There are always some games where you just can't find Ruin on certain maps. It can be frustrating for survivors, but remember there are always the other type of games where it's just gone in the first minute. But this first minute already helped saving probably a gen.

And why are you wondering yourself when 80% of red ranked matches have Ruin, when literally 80% of the whole playerbase is or will be on red ranks. Of course new people will face ruin so often when it's just so easy to rank up. You shouldn't listen to those complaints. Also do you think killer is nowadays the role that need balancing/nerfing? Can't wait for the 20 min SWF queue on redranks. Almost as bad as queueing as a rank 20 killer. Pepega
