Try this game I heard it's more fun for both sides. And you can be a giant spider in this game. Also survivors can fight back.

Even for people who aren't leaving DBD, Last Year is pretty good and you should try it. I also think that as the first real asymmetrical horror, DBD doesn't really have much competition. Making Last Year popular enough and taking enough of the playerbase could scare Behavior into doing a better job.

Nah, I'm gonna play Dying Light or Last of Us (PS4 player here). Or I'll finally try installing Identity V on my computer.
Sure, I like that Last Year has a spider and a priest, but the gameplay videos I've seen just don't appeal to me.

Last Year is a very good game. They've been very active with balance patches. Three in one month. Plus, they specifically balance certain things with high level coordinated survivors in mind. Not to say the game is perfect by any means. Double medic pipe bomb spam is an issue. Very different game though.

I finally get my hands on Monster Hunter World: Iceborne in 3 days, that's where I'm going. Not because I'm mad about the changes (more just...defeatist there, I guess) but because I've been looking forward to that launch since it was announced (and then majorly delayed for PC despite them saying they wanted to launch simultaneously this time)

IMO, the fact that survivors can't fight back is what makes dbd undethronable (if that's even a word xD) every other asymmetric game that has come out has let survivors kill the killers and didn't thrive. The feeling of being powerless against the killer is what makes you fear it and its why dbd formula works so well.

How about you ignore the ad, in this day and age you should be able to just shrug off unwanted ads. And let everyone else decide for themselves. After all, frustrated players might appreciate another option for a game in the same genre.

Got Iceborne recently as well, and after going back and finally finishing the Village Quests in Generations Ultimate on the Switch, to say I missed the Handler is a SEVERE overstatement.
