Here’s how to make it easier for new players.
Update the tutorial. You know the one thing every game has?
I think we can all agree that the current tutorial is not very informative.
Instead though you decide to nerf a perk... pretty good job so far BHVR

Exactly! And the tutorial is so bad too. It lacks so much information

"Killers need to apply gen pressure."
Tutorial mentions nothing about any such thing. The most intuitive way to play killer is to chase the first survivor you find and double down on them, making sure they die. Rinse, repeat. Then killers are berated when they struggle because the game gives them no direction.
"Survivors have trouble hitting skill checks."
You hit a couple skill checks in the tutorial. The game provides no place for survivors to practice skill checks unless they want to bore the ever-loving [BAD WORD] out of a friend with a custom match.
I also would like a nice shooting range where I can practice throwing hatchets as Huntress; trying to practice during matches that last less than five minutes because I suck as her is worse than useless.

Sadly there is no money to be made off a tutorial update so they most likely won’t do it. I bet they’ll probably say “just watch a youtuber explain how to play the game”

Make an offline mode, people will play the game against bots if they get frustrated against toxic people. It also teaches them slowly how to use killers powers without being thrown against others.

Exactly, every time a new killer comes out I always wish there was an offline mode so I can get a feel for the new killer without having to be worried about being dominated by survivors.

@Peanits is this something you guys would consider though as honestly the tutorial in this game is the worst tutorial I have ever seen a game have. It explains practically nothing. Hell I’m sure the community would happily write a new tutorial for you guys that you could use.
