new Hex Ruin would be good for legion
Without it getting cleansed in 10 seconds, Legions deep wound can stall the gens and regress them quite consistent if the survivors are chained and put in deep wound often.
Cant wait until deep wound gets nerfed again because of it and make it so it heals passively and it only takes 5 secondsđź‘Ś

Depending on which side you asked, DW either got nerfed or buffed. Obviously you know which side thinks what.

On a huge map you won't be able to chain stab survivors. So basically it won't effect them as much.

thats a problem that every "non high speed ability" killer has, it may not be consistent on big maps, it would still be a viable strat

The new ruin doesn't seem bad at all
I feel if this was a perk just added to the game people would be excitted for it
It combo's well with other perks and just is a more fun perk overall
It's the fact that they have to trade old ruin for it that people are mad about

It sounds fun, but there are two issues. From now on you need two perks to make one perk viable. Ruin was almost a standalone perk to slow early game down, while it lasted. Secondly it is still a hex perk, which means it can be destroyed within few sec. In addition you just need to work on the gen for 2 sec to know the killer has this Perk.

The effect is probably more powerfull then you would think, double regression doesn't sound like much but it bassicly adds 50% to any time survivors waste
It does have the giant hex perk weakness yes
I want to make it try to make it work before i make any judgements

Yeah, I think the perk change could be solid, but right now even double regression rate is only 50% of the speed a survivor repairs gens at with no toolbox or perks to increase gen repair speed.

Yeah, I just made assumptions. The 50% sounds good but I think we will see the huge benefit if survivors won’t touch the gen for long and they at least completed the 30-40% of the repair. Maybe we will see a huge potential if survivors 3 gen themself, but I might be wrong. If this wouldn’t be a hex perk i would be more optimistic.

While true, the issue comes down to the fact that a killer can only keep 1 survivor off a gen most of the time, 2 if they're going for a save. And against good survs gens will just blast out at the same rate as they do against anyone not running ruin.

It literally only synergize with surveillance...and even then it's not worthy of a hex perk..especially one with a very niche purpose

I totally agree, I'm wondering what's going to happen with killers who needed ruin so much to build up pressure, like Myers, Hag, Trapper, Huntress, Clown etc. Corrupt intervention will help us to find survivors, but it won't stop genrush.

It synchronises with:
Surveilance for insane information
Any slowdown perk as they make the regression more potent
Any stalling like sloppy's butcher, Legion's mend, Pigs traps etc. Are stronger with it
Trilling tremors blocks gens for 16 seconds and if they regress all that time you stalled them for a total of 24 seconds which is longer then pgtw does for one gen
I'm sure there's more things that i haven't thought of yet

No other regression perks dont work as you cant kick gens, thrilling also does nothing if your on the gen and even then it's not enough regression to matter , nobody heals at high ranks without well make it and will not heal at all whole ruin is briefly active it's common sense..legion can force it but if he doesnt commit to an m1 chase hes just hurting himself..all in all..its too limited and weak..
