Time to try Last Year
After 1.5 year playing DBD it's time to quit this game. These devs clearly dont care about balancing the game and making it fun for everyone. They just care about pleasing their survivor main fog whisperers that want to have the easiest games possible. I'm currently red ranks survivor/killer on EU server and i believe this change is TERRIBLE. It will make the game completely unplayable if you don't play a killer like Spirit or Hillbilly. Most other killers will be unplayble in red ranks. Instead of actually addressing more important things, like the gen repair speed and then addressing Ruin as well, you just remove the only thing that makes games in red ranks last more than 5 minutes? It's clear that these devs dont want to balance the game, they only want their 2-3 fog whisperer survivor mains streamers to have fun.
Alright, time to try out Last Year which i've been hearing is pretty good

Gen repair speed isn't the problem, it's map design that's the problem. The change to ruin is a good change, or it would be if half the maps weren't the size of a continent, making killers like Huntress and Clown hate their lives.

You know, I also hate my life when playing Clown on Coal Tower.

300-400 ppl left i dont think its gonna make it .. im trying my best to carry new players and teach them in game but an assymetrical game that relies on team work seems to be cursed. i still love DBD though im only angry with the matchmaking ques.. it takes way longer to find games .

Nah gen speed is an issue as well. It's not good that survs can finish the game in 4 minutes, so long as they don't have a crippling fear of diesel generators.
