All the killers aren't going to stop playing simply for the reason I didn't stop playing when DS and balanced landing got reworked/nerfed. Those were the meta perks then and ruin is the meta perk now. Meta will always get nerfed for both sides.

Why are u guys crying for a empty perk slot? I mean, it last 60s if u are lucky, for. the health of the game is better to adapt and move on

I dont actually need it i do just fine on ghostface and freddy and my other killers without it. But for killers like clown and legion with low map presence they wont be able to do crap.

Ah yes, comparing broken or overloaded perks being fixed to a perk that's literally only taken to give the killer a chance at having a game. It's almost like 4 minutes games aren't a healthy balance.

Someone's missing the point of the complains. People are complaining not because they're bad and need ruin to have a chance but because bad early game for killers is what tunneling is to survivors. You're losing your chance to have an enjoyable, not time management stressful match since ruin managed to give you those crusial first 1-2 minutes where survivors can pop 3 gens at the same time without killer beiing able to do anything about it. Too early to have any real preassure to stop them.
Imagine DS beiing removed/changed to deja vu power level even when it has good amount of counterplay and lessens one of the least enjoyable strategies to play against. Surviors would compain just as much if not more and it would be justified just as these complains are. Not even counting how biased their post with the rework details is which may be the worst part about it.

We've heard this threat before. Every killer knows ruin is no good for high ranks. There are much better options. The game needs to continuously change to stay fresh and alive. Honestly, I'm a bit sick of seeing ruin every match. It's just meh.

I'm not gonna say the ruin change was good or bad. I could care less. Honestly I just find this forum more entertaining than the game itself at the moment. Every time there is a change one side complains that it is unfair to them. The other side scoffs. You hear the same talking points:
- This change was necessary to balance the game or the game is now completely skewed towards the other side
- The change is unfair and you are just whining or the change made it fair and you are just upset you no longer have an unfair advantage
- The way it was before was just a crutch for weak players so you just need to get better or the change is the crutch
Then suddenly a change comes along that goes the opposite way and the roles are reversed.
Oh, and of course if you disagree with someone you are obviously either a noob that doesn't know what they are talking about or a bad player that just wants it easy.

Sorry but if you are using Ruin at high rank you would know that it is destroyed within seconds to a minute. You might as well brought Corrupt Intervention as it at least guarantees you 2. There are soooo many better perks that both. Pop for example. At least this change will free you up to try new things.

Sorry but everyone and I mean everyone said DS was dead. They mourned it's loss and cursed the devs for being "killer bias". Then guess what happened? They realized was still good and used it again. We'll have to wait and see about Ruin and how it actually plays out now.
