the community is a joke.
One change to a perk and they lose their minds and meanwhile the game lacks solid fps smooth gameplay without game breaking glitches like not being able to wiggle and survivors finding ways to get places killers cannot reach and the main part of the game is so busted and frustrating on both sides. The chase. Hitting and knowing it hits and knowing you got hit, the grabs the windows and pallets these need to be no question of what happened when an attack from the killer hits or misses. It's so random and jank the game is and always was broken. And yet here we are crying because people can't use ruin this community is a joke and so are it's players if this is what upsets them and you should all be ashamed for relying on a single mechanic that punishes players playing against you to win. Fix these things and this trivial change won't even matter and a large amount of actual gamers will come onboard.
Make the cake good before you work on all the icing.

You contradict yourself so badly it hurts. Them not fixing actual issues and still nerfing ruin is the issue exactly. Poor map design(size, loops and totems) causing too fast games, bugs(sound and dedicated server inconsistencies) are way up higher in what needs to be changed. So ofc people are upset the devs remove the only actual way for killers to combat these issues.
They did do a complete overhaul of healing why not same for objectives?
They just have to fix the actual issues even if at the cost of not having as much new content. The rift etc brings the money too not just dlc so fix the things that are actually broken and dont just help rank15 survs play the game cause the 1000+ hours people are the ones who bring the money not the guys who just bought the game from a sale.

You're missing the point, we're sick of the "cake" itself being awful too but we deal with it. The problem occurs when you make things even worse for a group of players that's already at a breaking point thanks to sound being completely worthless for almost two months and you nerfed a killer right out of the gate just after release after saying you aren't going to nerf him (Oni). We're complaining because we already know they take a millennium to go back and change things and we already know ruin if implemented as is will be hot garbage for a long time.
Don't complain about others complaining when you don't even understand why they're complaining.
