yeah on top of nerfing the best regressing perks in the game they also remove your ability to use the other best regressing perk in the game while your using the new regressing perk which is just stupid

Wow, it's even worse than we thought lol. So not only is it going to die instantly it's also just going to C block our other perks. Great game design, we should just stop complaining and accept the dickening

Something tells me that they don't want people to combine this new Ruin with PGTW.

they seem to think that you shouldn't be able to stack these slow down perks since the new ruin and the freddy nerfs

Wait, what do you mean it can't be used?
When someone stops working on a gen, does it automatically start sparking and stops the killer from kicking it?

Nothing stops the 4 Survivors from all using the best Toolboxes & Add-ons though. 🤔

However, you can equip both. So when the Survivors cleanse the totem, BOOM they just activated PGtW. :)

So have to perks that can't work together and have at best half the value from both of them. Sorry but what are you taking this logic is bad and don't help you at all.

this and the whole doctor change is so bad designed... You will kill your game devs :) Enjoy 30 min waiting time, when the killers are gone. BOOM they are all gone...

Meaning you'll have 3 Perks, and once they cleanse it, you'll have 3 Perks?
That's bigger than i thought at first.
The number of combinations for you to actually have only 3 Perks are small (Hex: Ruin + Pop Goes The Weasel / Overcharge), but they worked together before, so anyone liking these combinations before now has both a changed Perk & they can't be used at once.
Like the stats said, Hex: Ruin is very popular, so that + Pop Goes The Weasel probably isn't that uncommon either.

I just had a huge discussion with friends of mine about this. And i can not understand that either.
I mean, why shouldn´t you be able to kick a gen with that new ruin?
The whole thing with the new ruin is that you lose progression on gens, while not continuing to work on them. That means the new ruin drops the gen-progression AS IF the killer damaged the gen, right?
The killer should possibly still be able to damage the gen and get rid of gen-progression even faster, imo. What´s the matter of not being able to damage a gen and gather points? Shall we all wait until they cleansed ruin?
Correct me if i am wrong..

forget Ruin and just use Pop, 25% per hook is more than you'll ever get out of ruin even if it lasts the whole game.

Its a budget solution. Instead of designing a new status effect around Ruin, they just went with the cheapiest and laziest way, make it the regular regression. And the regular regression says that you can't kick it twice.

Well, if it dies instantly than it's not going to be blocking any other perks. xD But really, I find pop way more useful than ruin anyway on most killers I play.
Really though, I can't comment much on this until I play with the new ruin and experience it myself. It's really easy to assume how games will turn out but that doesn't mean what we're imagining is right.
