The new Static Blast gives 50 madness if they get hit by it but how many madness points does it take to get into each tier of madness.

    I suppose 50, since the devs stated in their last livestream that Static Blast, when activated, will bump every affected survivor up one madness tier.

    EDIT: More specifically, according to the wiki, Madness 1 is reached after accumulating 5 insanity points, Madness 2 after accumulating 55, and Madness 3 after accumulating 105.

    So each tier, aside from Madness 1, requires 50 insanity points to reach, meaning that Static Blast will push affected survivors up at least one tier, if not more. So for example, a survivor who has no insanity points and gets hit by Static Blast will not just go to tier 1, but will receive 50 insanity points, and then be almost at tier 2 already.
