Starting off the year poorly welcome back to the dark times
Playing the ptb for a good 18 hours testing the new changes I have to say feel unbelievably horrible. Doctor has mostly gotten weaker his changes may allow him to track better at times now but they have not fixed his chase ending potential and a lot of his stall power with forcing people into madness to make them take time to do the skill checks is garbage at this point it might as well not be in the game anymore. The change to doctor is disgraceful to the people that waited a very long time for his improvement changes to become a viable killer all that has happened is they addressed what was annoying about the doctor and took it out or just severely nerfed it and did not fix or address his problems in viability for chases or map pressure. The new changes have 100% made him weeker with very little positive changes or compensation for his nerfs he is now just as bad as old Freddy. The nerf to Ruin is even more disgraceful to the community it shows the developers lack of any care for the killer side of the game totally against any improvements or proper balance towards killers. The new ruin will no longer slow down generators with red skill checks and instead will only slow down generators that are not being worked on this is probably the worst change dbd has ever gotten vs it being just a nerf that will affect one killer this nerf will affect every killer and the health of the game in a negative way. The new ruin is nowhere close to a viable replacement to it's original effect with this change generators in red ranks and all throughout the game will have no forme of viable stall as you can simply not just push people off generators to get viability with new ruin since there are 4 survivors and even if you stop one generator there are 3 other survivors working on Gens unless you want to keep going back and forth and getting looped wasting time it is not an impactful way to slow the game down. With most maps being very large this is a detrimental killing nerf to almost all killers with no map pressure and since the developers clearly don't want to make killers better or compensate with a proper replacement to ruin the game is dead at this point. Apparently 80% of people in red ranks using ruin so the developers instead of looking into why just about everyone uses this perk and compensating properly for the removal of ruin they decided to nerf it instead because it is getting used a lot well if that's the case you might as well nerf decisive strike since majority of games In red ranks use the perk but that will never happen as the developers show they have no intention in making survivors a little weaker in any shape or form. I will no longer be supporting this game if there is no proper compensation for the ruin changes. I highly recommend to the developers before you go through with this allow this game to have a off line mode where people can choose to play against bots so people do not have to update the game to put up with ridiculous Balance changes like this if they choose to do so.
