Golden toolbox
Me and my friends are on a hunt for the golden toolboxes but can't find it on coldwind farm. Can someone tell me which varient it's on without telling me the actual location of it please because we're stuck

Golden toolboxes are only on maps that didn't come with the game at launch back in 2016, so any of the original 4 Coldwind Farm maps would not have one. If Fractured Cowshed has one, it has never been found.
Best of luck to you guys finding any that you haven't found yet.

The underground facility only appears during egc. Never seen one on the farm maps.

@GrootDude Then wouldn't it be more reasonable If he responded to threads that have actual significance? BHVR take shortcuts when it comes down to fixing issues. For example, instead of fixing the matchmakimg system they just hid survivors ranks instead. Sometimes you have to take the narrow path even though it's hard. Itll pay off in the end by making your game successful. @Peanits

@GrootDude Which ones If you dont mind me asking. 4 years after launch and this game still has serious problems. (Matchmaking, broken maps, game mechanics not responding, error codes, etc.) The list goes on

@GrootDude Is this a joke? How is this thread a significant issue in your eyes? I've looked over many threads and he's only replied to ones about easter eggs, archives, auric cells, and meaningless conservstions such as the one you listed

Every game in existence has this if it has it in it
Matchmaking can mess up whenever, CoD has broken maps and mechanics, every game has error in the code as well
Each one is serious, so you can't blame DBD for some of the issues when EVERY GAME IN EXISTENCE ISNT PERFECT

Not to defend BHVR but the OP asked a reasonable question and Peanits responded.
Many of us don't like the current changes or recent ones but it isn't a reason to act like a toolbox.

@TheHoodiedOne COD is a very bad example to compare DBD with. Actually, in fact COD does not have "broken maps", or 25min-1hr queue times, constant error codes sending to the menu etc. Trust me, if it did It would not be one of the most top grossing games at the moment. Your correct, no game in existence Is perfect. They may suffer from minor bugs or glitches but not the issues DBD has. Look at Fortnite for example, that game is practically flawless due to the devs hard work and effiencey in making a great game.

to date there has only been one golden toolbox per realm. since there is already one in mothers dwelling (the red forest realm (I think it's called. all I know is mothers dwelling is in the same realm as temple)) there isn't one in the temple.

The devs made 1 rule regarding the golden tool box's, only 1 per realm.
There is already a golden tool box in the forest realm( huntresses map).
So you can’t find it on The temple because it doesn’t exist.

In fairness to BHVR, they do respond to all kinds of threads. Peanits in particular is very active on the forums. I'm as harsh with my criticisms as anyone. But I'm fair too. In this matter you are just out of line.

It's a literal golden toolbox. An easter egg placed on most maps, but one with no real value... except it being a cool little thing. It's like the IWHBYD or Grunt Birthday Party Skulls in Halo. It's a nice touch...
... although I get the sentiment of being annoyed at them paying more attention for easter eggs than bugs/glitches, but that's bEhavior for you.

It would be cool if it was retrievable and gave you a few shards or bp or something. You pick it up and it disappears in your hands, you gain the bonus after the match ends kinda thing.

Each realm only has 1 toolbox, so since Temple of purgation is just another red forest map...it didnt get a toolbox since theres already a toolbox in the red forest realm.

Feel like that would just incentivize ppl to race their teammates for the golden toolbox each match. Would be different if it was something you actually had to carry but didnt provide any ingame use. Youd have to make the choice of carrying around the easily visible golden toolbox instead of your much more useful medkit or something.
