Killers are preparing without Ruin
Just played last two days and found killers aren't running Ruin anymore in preparation for the huge nerf.
I tend not to play in swf so usually get two or three... I'll rephrase, usually I'll be lucky to have one decent survivor being optimal in red ranks matches against green ranked killers.

We really need starts of swf teams vs solos. Gens either fly by or there is a game.

I played for my first whole entire year (October 2018-through most of 19) without ruin because I didn't want to rely upon a meta perk

Played one game of clown last night on PS4.
Left out Ruin and took NOED instead but to my surprise I didn't need it and I got all 4 with one gen left.
Just one game though. Have tried this before and got pummeled. Rank 6 survivors on PS4 are a strange bunch - they can be useless or excellent.

I've been using Corrupt instead of Ruin my past couple games instead

I find corrupt rather pointless. survivors just walk to the gens that are not blocked, and it is like your perk didn't even exist since you can only chase one survivor at a time, or break no pallets and spend the entire game shooing them off gens.

Time for my chaos Legion build.
Perks: Knockout, DeerStalker, Bloodhound and Sloppy
Add-Ons: Blindness Button and Stolen Sketch Book.
You hit people with FF, they can't see eachother, they go down after you hit them, no one can see them, everyone panics when they don't get hooked.

Me i won't slug, if after the update swf get more toxic and full of them selfs(wich is 100%) and if it becomes imposible to presue decent swf teams on comms ill gonna fade into the fog and leave empty space. I never slugged and won't start doing that since really anoying to both sides.

Personally I find it fun and strategic. The main reason I do it (if I do) is either so I can find the last survivor (usually I play wraith) or to counter dc (which 99% of the time at least one survivor has it). Sometimes I even do it for a basically guaranteed 3k and possible 4k. I’d recommend trying it.

So guys you can play against toxic killers who slug every game for the 4k or you can go to Raccoon City and get teammates, guns, and weapons in Resident Evil 3 Project Resistance...

Really looking forward to that game. Both sides were fun in the closed beta and I sincerely hope the devs don't let unskilled players rule their balance team.

Ive been trying to learn a few new killers, which is good cause i used a lot of slower methodical killers but people really seem to hate it when im chasing down with freddy and stuff, ruin was always a massive help on most of my old killers, guess its back to spirit freddy 👍

This means that they start the game only able to work close to you. That helps.

Think you are just noticing killers that don't run Ruin more or killers that normally run it have quit. There's no reason for killers to remove Ruin before it's change. Testing other slowdown perks now or in two weeks doesn't matter. Might as well enjoy Ruin while they can.

Well I play as normal but soon as Ruin nerf is here I will only play to win, instead of playing my best and make sure both sides have fun in the process.

I swapped out Ruin for NOED. It's a little depressing at just how fast these gens are going. The only way my matches have been stretched out is if I slug, and doing it a few times in a row makes me feel dirty. I hate when it's done to me when I play survivor. Then I have to hear the standard salt at NOED use in post game chat. Nice job devs. Splitting the community even further, why don't you.

I've been running without it now too, and yes as survivor I got half of my games today against no Ruin... my teammates still didn't do gens

Only helps Trapper or Hag. Versus every other killer, survivors can just hide and wait out the 2 minutes, making the perk completely obsolete.

Amazing graphics +cool maps+survivors get weapons and lots of items.

Only if the whole team hides, so only SWF really.
If 1-2 hide it is even better for you, half the team doing nothing while you chase another survivor. You can get your first hook and zero work will be done on gens.

But why? It just helps you stomp noobs even harder. While it doesn't do anything against smart survivors. Whats the point of a perk if it only help versus bad players?
