Balance Suggestions
So I am mostly a survivor main but I do however play killer quite frequently. I've noticed many downsides from playing both survivor a killer roles and would like to make some balance suggestions.
Hex totems: Make hex totems activate as soon as the survivors are affected by the actions of the perk. So if a killer has ruin, it isn't activated till a skill check is hit; If a killer has devour hope, it doesn't activate till someone is hooked and same with huntress lullaby; If a killer has third seal, it doesn't activate till someone is hit. This would stop hex totems from being destroyed right off the bat as some survivors literally spawn right in front of them.
Gens: In this past stream, they mentioned a secondary objective. How about instead of slowing down gens, survivors are able to complete half a gen normally but for the other half, the survivor needs to find gas in order to complete it. This would stop the current gen rush, but at the same time not change the game too much.
Infinites: Do I even need to explain myself for this one? Infinites should either be closed off or made into doorways since survivors can literally abuse it.
Camping: As much as it is a strategy for killers, it is extremely boring on both sides. I like the devs idea on slowing down the progress bar if a survivor is being camped and it could really help depending on the situation. Also, if a survivor unhooks themselves, shouldn't they deserve a borrowed time effect since its literally a 4% chance of getting off?
Jungle Gyms and other Platforms/ small buildings: Not really a balance change but I would really like new variations of jungle gyms instead of some windows being turned into doorways and vice versa. Also new platforms/ small buildings would also bring more diversity within maps as we currently only have hills and tractors.
Pallets: The current pallet stage is fine, however, it is extremely buggy. It is annoying as survivor to get hit through a pallet after you throw it down, and not to mention the occasional glitch where you stun a killer and it seems as though they are on one side of a pallet but are actually on the other.
These are just some of my suggestions so please kindly respond/ criticize. Thank you!
