What is fun for you in DbD?

so right now we can have 5 min matches which is before the ptb ruin.
I wonder why do you play dbd, what is the fun for you in dbd? To me it is actually the interaction between killer/survivor, the chase.
What is it for you? Be honest, no bs.

im a huge horror movie fan, so theres that.
i like that the game is easy to learn, but hard to master.
the chase is whats fun for me. i dont play surv often, but either killer or surv, but the chase is what can make a break a trial for me.

Interaction between the community (when it isn't fighting), helping others out (basically in any community if i'm knowledgeable in the topic), Stealth Killers capabilities that allow me to make an actual in-game Myers at Lerys and also in-general the stealth mechanics.
There's more, I enjoy the versatility in the Roster list (even if some of it is not viable in Red Ranks, so I MAKE it viable), I like the design and concepts for each new map that comes into DBD, etc.
That's just to name some that're off the top of my head, I also enjoy the grind (but that's in any game), if I think of anymore i'll come back to add or just talk in this discussion about things with other peoples answers.
