Saw the Rift Pass Rewards....
Paulie Esther released a video of upcoming cosmetics and Im truly dissapointed 2 look cool and others are RECOLORS like why.

What's wrong with Recolours?
The Hag Recolour actually looks half decent, escpecially compared to the original (imo), and I may run it if I ever use Hag because she has the worst Cosmetics in the game and this one is fine.

I think they are alot better than the first rift rewards plus it seems like there is more cosmetics in the new rift

Most of the rewards are okay, but none of them are as cool as the ones we got from the first rift.
(Still baffled they just slapped in a recolor of a default trapper weapon though)

Any recolor as a PAID cosmetic is a lazy cash grab lol.
Whether an item looks better than the original is purely personal preference and shouldn't be used as an argument.
But the Rift is literally a cash grab so if people buy it good for them I guess lol.

All the rift skins are recolours. They are moving away from time exclusive skins.
But there's always a full new one there. Last time was nurse's, now it's clown's.
Her halloween cosmetic is pretty good imo 🤷♂️

That’s why you should buy the season pass only because it gives you back your cells. Otherwise hundreds of shards, bland recolours and few good skins aren’t worth 10€.

You know this only happens if you complete the battlepass right? And that not everyone has the time to play DbD that much?
You also know that you only earn cells if you pay for the battlepass too right?

They're a lot better than the first one for survivors anyway IMO. The blue hag skin looks super awesome as well.

I believe BHVR has said multiple times that there will be recolors in the rift... this shouldn't come to a surprise to anyone. (not saying I find it acceptable... but they have told us)

Well, lets put it this way. If you were to buy all the skins in the rift, it would easily total up to over $10. Now, I know plenty of people who made it to 70 with time to spare and didn't buy any rift levels.
It actually is cheaper to buy the rift and get more cosmetics than if you were to just try to buy them out of the store. Combine that with wearing a rift exclusive cosmetic that is near the unlocked near the end shows that you (might) actually take time to play the game and have some knowledge of how to be a decent teammate.
Overall, I say worth it for the value if you play the game a lot and can make it to level 70.
