So when are people who lost their Howling Grounds/Summer BBQ Cosmetics getting those back?
I remember hearing that people who lost those cosmetics would be getting those back when everybody got those ultra-rare exclusives, and I've been missing my stuff from those events for quite some time now and been waiting, kinda miss my donkey jacket and hound mask.

When who that lost their Legacy get it back.

There is no option for the devs to verify who lost which Legacy skin. So I doubt they will give them back until they are able to isolate players with Legacy. I dont think the achievements will be enough.
Thats not my personal opinion on this topic, I think they should work on a solution but I doubt there will be any ever.

I still have mine, but when others lost theirs there was certainly ways to refund Legacy as well as confirm if they earned Legacy or not. But the devs just didn't bother.
Even when there was 100% proof the player lost legit earned Legacy (say a streamer) the devs didnt bother.
If the devs didnt bother to refund Legacy, they aren't likely to refund anything else.

I Lost them them today for no reason, i wrote to the customer support giving them my player id but they wrote back that i have to write ti the official statement

On a more serious note:
The only thing they wrote when the Ultra Rare exclusives were given to any player was that they found a way to restore the lost Event Exclusives to those who lost it.
However, afterwards there was no post about this. Given the fact that the Oni-Chapter introduced a lot of Bugs which are not all fixed yet AND the Holidays, most likely they did not have much time to restore the Cosmetics.
To be honest, I think this should be one of the Top Priorities. Yes, those are only Cosmetics, but people who lost them want them back and they said they found a way, so it should not take them ages to actually restore them.

I did not lose my Legacy skins aswell.
The way they handled the loss of Legacy skins was kinda inconsistent. Some streamers lost their Legacy and got them back. I know some players also provided video proof, screenshots, achievement proof etc and they did not get them back. Another form of a two classed treatment between streamers and "normal" players.

They were not able to identify everyone who lost Legacy. That was the main issue. Just remember: Our saves were local.

Saves was checked server side as well. That's one way how they caught save editors that hacked BP and people who copied game saves to avoid the grind. Likely never stored those copies long term though.
In any case. Something like losing Legacy should have been treated better. Far too important not to.

As someone who earned the event cosmetics and (currently) still has them, I really wish they had just stuck to the original plan and gave them to everybody.
The way I see it is I earned mine. I know I earned them, I wear them proudly knowing that. Them giving them to everybody doesn't change that. It only makes it so I can keep wearing them without fear of losing them.
I hope everyone that lost them has them restored to them soon.

I lost my legacy cosmetics the same time I lost my Howling Grounds cosmetics. When they saved files on their servers.
So despite of this, they can somehow return Howling Grounds cosmetics but not Legacy. Doesn't make sense.

I asked multiple times aswell. The fact that they went radio silent on this one doesn't give me a good feeling. It seems like they have to backtrack and take their words back because they realised they actually can't do it.

For real? I havent hear of anyone who has lost their Legacy skins recently? Didnt know its still a thing.

We have to remember them over and over. I told support that I fear they do the same like they did with legacy skins. I posted a link above for the answer.

Yeah. I actually recorded myself losing my progress because I had heard of the EULA bug, so as soon as the EULA appeared I started recording. In the recording it shows there was a few days left of the Howling Grounds event in the main menu.
If I had lost my legacy a few weeks/months prior, I would've simply used one of my many backup files. But that was no longer possible... and the devs rejected the save file I sent them.

If I had lost my legacy cosmetics a few months prior, I would've simply used one of my many backup files. But that was no longer possible... and the devs rejected the save file I sent them and have been simply replying with generic copy and pasted emails ever since.
