Can we make Infectious Fright work on people in lockers again please devs?

Infectious Fright has been regarded as one of the best perks for skilled killers in DBD for quite a while.

Basically it has two uses. First is to slug the one on the ground to snowball. Second is to deny sneaky flashlight saves, pallet saves, head on saves and hook saves around you. In my opinion only the those experienced and skilled killers can make the best use out of this perk. It was very balanced and consistent until the Oni patch.

Since the Oni patch, Infectious Fright couldn’t make people in lockers to scream anymore. And this change was not stated in the patch note. It caused quite some confusions. This also resulted some inconsistencies of the perk and absolutely a nerf to the perk.

Infectious Fright is really a good and balanced killer perk. It was strong because of the absolute consistency. And running outside of the killer’s terror radius either before or after the scream is good enough as a counter. So please make people in locker can scream by Infectious again please. With the Ruin nerf, killers definitely has to snowball to 4K. And perks like this is absolutely essential.

    DS was ever fun to verse for killers? Any counters? Need me to list all the op survivor perks that are absolutely no fun to deal with? I’m a rank 1 survivor and a rank 1 killer. I think Infectious Fright is balanced and easy to counter.

    I am just saying that the developers most likely shadownerfed Infectious Fright, because survivors were annoyed by it. Just like they shadownerfed footsteps and grunts of pain, because the killer wasn't behaving like an AI.

    Sorry but survivors demand that everything a killer can do must have CouNTerPlay! aka must be able to fully shut it down and ignore it.

    The game is balanced for rank 15, so expect more extra life perks and nerfs to killers and killer perks in the future.

    Survivors don’t have OP perks lol you do realize they’re all incredibly situational and avoidable making them not OP. Killers have way too many abilities and I don’t agree with all the stuff they can do. Especially when it comes to melee attacks the range needs to be shortened a bit at vault windows. If I vault through a window you should have to do the same. Killers get unfair hits off against you, and I’ve seen it on both survivor and playing killer side too. I almost felt bad hitting them through the window like that. And I know it’s not lag. Xbox doesn’t have dedicated servers and killers the host (me) so.... One can say “yeah well he’s just right on the other side of the vault” .... noooo, they’re getting wacked well on the other side, even RIGHT on the other side still doesn’t seem fair. Killer should have to go around the vault (which is almost all the time a few steps away - ######### useless vaults) or through it. It’s just cheap hits.

    Also it’s really easy to cut off survivors. Almost too easy. Map design needs to be better so breaking lines of sight are more possible. Not just that a survivor vaults, and killer just takes a few steps to the right because the wall literally almost doesn’t exist. LÉRYs is a great map because there are vaults that lead you from room to room. On those maps like farm and swamp and auto haven or whatever they just have stupid vaults. One needs to learn loop locations but still, I think CERTAIN killers need a nerf. They can really be a bit too much if used properly and I just don’t think killers have enough to worry about. It’s not like oh damn I gotta protect these chests because there’s probably a baseball bat they can stun me with 😂 flashlights aren’t OP and are situational too they work best with you to standing in front of a killer with a carried survivor. So.... ######### lmao . F13 theres melee weapons and more people against you. Killers got it too good only worrying about gen control. I patrol hard with killer and 1 usually gets out at the most and that’s through hatch 😂 but whatever. As much as people complain about gen speed, how about killer melee range? I hate queuing up as a survivor and being the first one to go because I got hooked once and Mori’d after or just not let off the hook at all, or camped until 2nd stage. You know like, that’s not a deserved kill. You caught me once don’t act like you worked hard for that 😂 nah you should have to get those 12 hooks don’t cheat me.

    Because usually you’ll have survivors wasting time thinking they can make a hook rescue ALL TOO OFTEN unless your communicating. But then when they gen rush you because you’re camping too hard or simply because you don’t have informational perks as a killer then idk what to tell you - fix your style. But what I do know is that killers should be forced to hook any given person 3 times. That first hook the timer should just freeze if killers within like 15-20m of the hooked survivor. Maybe at least make that a perk. It’s like Go get other people you dirtbag 😂. The 2nd one - struggle sure. 3rd one, you’re out.
