Why do I need to search for it?

Why do we have these meaningless "considerably/moderately/slightly" in descriptions. It can be misleading. For example, reducing something by 0,25s or so, IMO, is meaningless. At least be fair and replace "slightly" with the number.

    Because they're old terminology.

Also, slightly/considerably etc is different based on the actual metric were talking about.

Slightly longer healing may be more time added than slightly more frequent bleeding.

Yeah it would be kinda nice. I get that theorycrafters and dataminers can just look in the games code and figure out exact values but I shouldn't have to do that to have an idea of what's going on.

I never understood this as some perks actually have the percentages while others are “moderately” like...why?

Im not 100% sure but I think @Peanits already made a statement about why some were labeled like that so I don’t think it’ll change any time soon.

Eh. I like seeing the "rough" terminology used. After playing with a certain Perk/Add-on for a while, you get a general idea of how it works and how effective it is anyway, so numbers aren't going to change that very much.

If you absolutely have to have the numbers, just search them up. They're pretty easy to obtain. I find that experimenting with the various effects is more enjoyable though. Having actual numbers would take some of the mystery out of it, and the fun, for me at least.

I've just always gone with the idea that slightly means a little better than normal, moderately means a tiny bit better than slightly, considerably means a tiny bit better than moderately, and tremendously means a tiny bit better than considerably, lol. All of which are fractions of a second but can be game changing for charging, repairing, and healing in terms of trying not to waste time. Actually having numbers would make it seem insignificant when it's quite helpful in game considering how everything works.

Yes my dude, and some things say “stacks” or “does not stack” and some things don’t say either

Newer killers add-ons do not specify if they stack, but most of them do.

Not as 'old' as we all hope. The 3 Electrode add-ons for doctor used to give numbers for distance (25/50/75%) but no longer do.

It appears the chances for meaningless descriptions have increase moderately.

Would you prefer "Just a Bit/Somewhat/Pretty Fair?"

  • Because it's archaic, makes no sense, and is an obviously outdated and poor design choice- but they think it's fine, and their opinions are all that matter to them.
