About the ruin change...(Survivor main POV)
Ruin wasn't a problem for me. It taught survivors to work on skill checks and if you time it right ruin isn't really a problem. If a survivor can't hit great skill checks its on them run This is Not Happening. I don't believe Ruin needed to be changed. If it has an occurrence in every game then maybe it's because gens go by too fast? No? Just Me? To be honest I like ruin in my matches makes them longer and it feels less than a generator repair simulator.
Im open for any ideas that could effect my understanding of ruin changes.

I think the main issue is size of the maps and certain loops (like ironworks of misery). They keep making large maps where it takes roughly 25 seconds to move one side of the map to another. And expect killer to control 4 survivors working on different generators.. (It's not happening)

I think this will be the first step In figuring out gen speeds as well toolboxes. We just need to have a baseline without ruin at all ranks. Than changes can be made to figure out how to balance around that.

It's a problem for lazy survivors who don't have time to practice and get better. They want it easy and escape, and on to the next easy game.

I'll be honest, I believe that the ruin changes will open up other changes so that gens don't go flying left and right. That being said, I've been noticing more and more killers not using ruin. Some do well, others not so much.
If you don't like the changes or not, I do find it a bit more healthy for the state of the game.
And yes, I'm still going to be playing killer after these changers. I'm not going to quit because they changed one of the better perks

They can't find the ruin out in the open for the whole world to see therefore ruin op.

According to pro killer mains you just have to pressure all 4 survivors duh. God windows are irrelevant against these fabled beings.
