These look great. Even though I didn't grow up with RE or Doom I can understand the hype. Was thinking about picking up the RE 2 remake when it was on sale but decided to get Alien Isolation instead. I'm just hoping Predator: Hunting Grounds comes to Xbox.

Alien Isolation is also a pretty good game. You should 100% play the RE franchise at some point though and Doom is always a blast. I also hate to let you know but the Predator game is being funded with help from Sony if I remember correctly. So I sadly don't see it heading to Xbox anytime soon but who knows at this point.

I played through RE7 and thoroughly enjoyed my time with it, although I didn't stick around for the DLC that came later. I only came back for the free expansion that let you play as Chris.

Yeah, RE7 was a great franchise "restart" button because after RE6, it definitely needed it. I'll also be honest, haven't played any of the dlc either.
