Is EXTREME dodging bannable?
Just out of curiosity...
Let's say as killer I dodge 100 lobbies in a row. Could I get banned?
What if I dodge right away when there are 4 survivors?
What if I dodge with 10 seconds left on the countdown?
What if I insta-dodge the moment a survivor shows up in the lobby?

No, it's not.
You could dodge 1000 times and it isn't bannable, it isn't listed in the game rules as a bannable offence so it isn't bannable. I don't see why it would be anyways, it doesn't do anything besides make your match-making longer.
Here's the link where every bannable offence is listed:

This.
As long as you're not dodging with 1 gen left.

That's DCing, he's asking about lobby dodging, which isn't bannable.
People lobby dodge all the time, it doesn't do anything but making the Killers queue times longer. So you either just accept the match up you get... or waste 30 more minutes getting the "desired one".
Either way, its a waste of time to lobby dodge.

It was a joke. I agree with what you said.

Oh, I was unaware, It's hard to tell when someone is joking through text alone. ☹️

@FireHazard I thought so I just needed someone else to confirm it. I was going to.... do something funny but I don't wanna talk about it here.

It has never been reportable nor bannable, it's just a bit annoying for survivors who have been waiting for a lobby to get into

The issue with things that're not listed on the game rules link, is that they meet a grey area in which it's unknown if they're reportable or not.
But common sense shows that if it's not listed, than it's not a bannable offence. It's questionable yes, but not bannable.

On PS4 if the killer dodges, the killer bar which is gray and red when ready is gone.
Fortunately I dont get kicked, just a different person. On PS4 it is dedicated servers.

As others have said you can dodge all day as either role.
Unless you dc in a game to dodge a killer or something of course.

I don't see why you would dodge as a Survivor, you can't see who the Killer is... unless you just don't want to play with that team.
But yeah, you can if you want I guess...

Ping

You only see your own ping with Dedicated Servers, at least on PC anyways.

That's what i was talking about if your ping to the server is high you can look for a new lobby to refresh and hopefully get a closer server

Well just saying "ping" doesn't mean i'll automatically know what you mean lol.
But yeah, that too.

On Xbox you can see who the killer is in the lobby by checking "recent players". Sometimes it will appear right when you enter the lobby other times you have to wait about 20 seconds for it to refresh.
Survivors on Xbox will dodge killers they don't like. I have a list of about 4 killers I dodge because they will mori spam me. There is also a group of players on Xbox that have a (private) collective hit list where they target specific survivors with face camps or mori spams.

I meant the Killers, like the literal Killer they're playing, not the player themselves.
I'm aware of that too on xbox surprisingly, if there's someone that a player or players does not like, than they can do that to actively avoid them all together. That's kind of a grey area on if that's ok or not, but I don't really want to open another conversation on that.

When red rank survivors on xbox already have 10 mins queue, I wish it was, or at least make the timer to find a new lobby longer for dodgers :/

Depends on the time of day for queue times or how big the xbox one player-base is at the moment.
At any rate, if they did implement that for xbox than they would have to do it for every version, plus you were still dodged so it doesn't change the fact that you have to re-queue i'm afraid.

I know people that DC certain killers, but that's not really the issue. The PLAYER is the issue because there are some real ######### heads on Xbox.
I personally think the game itself should just show you the name of the person you are playing. If it's someone you don't want to play with your shouldn't have to play against them. IDC what the reason is, some people are just toxic and spiteful. If you find yourself getting dodge a lot as killer maybe consider the idea you are an #########. It's not like this game has a competitive ELO system like Overwatch where dodging would screw rankings.
Also survivors dodge other survivors, and bad pings. There are reasons to leave the lobby as survivor.

I know, we are gonna requeue anyway, but at least it may make killers reconsider dodging the next time :/

Killer shouldn't be forced to take matches they don't want to take.
From what I understand, dodging isn't even an issue with dedi's because the survivors stay in the lobby while it finds a new killer. You don't need to reset the search or anything.

I doubt something like that would be implemented unless it becomes a massive problem for every version in-general, but we'll see.
Yes but than this would cause even more issues in-game than there already is, more dodging will have certain players looking for "the right players to play with" and than in a sense other players with a history of DCing will DC if the match is "not going their way."
So, more dodging with the DCing issue is just another problem that needs to be fixed again and again. Since dodging is fairly common now-a-days, I wouldn't be surprised if this is an already rampant issue in-game.
I personally never experience it as a Killer because I go afk while readying up, so I play against any team and don't care. As a Survivor, I rarely come across it as well, and I play Claudette which is usually a Survivor a lot of Killers will dodge against.
Either way, dodging specific players that you don't like will just cause more issues, sometimes you gotta face against people you hate, that's life!
