Killer feels so awful to play on console
Killer in general lately has been a nightmare for me. With the ruin changes I've been testing out new builds with legion and sometimes they work really well. My problem is that no matter how much pressure I put(fast downs in chase) the gems just keep poping and poping. And not only that, u lag everytime bloodlust activates, survivors will do that little thing where they run side to side and it flicks your camera, noises are messed up, I frames dropping randomly. I really want to play killer but it's so frustrating and unfun. I feel as if killer is getting more and more unfun and frustrating to play to the point where there are going to be very few killers and the queues will take forever

That’s why I’m learning nurse (I also play on console) it’s a hit or miss tbh but makes the game fun and changes up the loops

That's funny because I've been wrecking survivors all day with no ruin, tier 1/2 perks.

I'm fairly decent on console with everyone except oni nure and billy (learning billy now tho) and there's a lot to get used to that I don't think most people on pc are even aware of. If the game starts lagging or the aim assist malfunctions it gets really tough to land hits. It gets worse after most patches and you'll want to avoid red ranks at all costs

I usually do alright it's more of the annoyances with the frame rate and random lag then gen speeds imo but some maps screw up the game

Yeah it's grim. A guy from my swf group played his first game as killer on pc and said it was amazing in comparison, a survivor spinning in a circle doesn't bring your fps grinding to a halt etc etc. He also sent me the post chat screenshots where a survivor said they hope his family dies of cancer so I guess there's also disadvantages on pc...

Is it really a disadvantage to see how pathetic people are? They lost fair and square time to see how low they can sink for your personal amusement. Seriously it's sad and funny how some people act on this game to justify a loss. On both sides.

If you're playing killer correctly you get those messages on console as well. It's part of survivor culture from what I can tell.

Yep,sensitivity,framerate issues,its not easy to play as a killer on console,after they announced to nerf ruin i swap to survivor,its much easier and gameplay is much smoother

As someone who was Red Rank Killer on PS4 for the longest time. The games more of what you make it. While the Killer side is definitely having issues if you don't even try and get past the initial problems and just complain you wont actually get to enjoy it either. I know people who main killers and I know enough to the point almost every killer is mained between me and friends.
The Killers with the biggest issues due to FPS randomly dropping are Legion in FF, Nurse Blink attacks, Huntress Hatchets during the occasional FPS drops. While other killers have issues these 3 stand out the most to me.

i would suggest playing at a different time, i play on xbox and have done since its console release. have been rank 1 killer and survivor every season i play however connection plays a huge part, even if youre host with good connection their individual connection to you will affect some of the things youre talking about, i also think auto aim messes up attacks more often than not. so dependent on whether i want fast killer games, or better connection killer games are completely different times throughout the day, same as ranks tbh. But you need to remember some killers are very lack luster in terms of power and pressure they can create, some killers require a good build with good add-on unlike others where add-ons dont matter as much. Good perks i run are corrupt,pop,sloppy,thana,haunted grounds,BBQ,nurses,infectious,STBFL and monitor. dependent on killer, survivor items or map if im picking

Yeah I'm ps4 and before playing killer I usually switch messages off and friend requests off. Weirdly enough from the things they say in the accompanying message it doesn't sound like they want to be my friend at all.

Sounds like some hardcore Potato farming to me. Jokes aside you always run into some people who are just inherently bad at DBD and you wonder how they passed rank 18.
