Clown, Myers and Oni. Oni and Myers both have terrible early-games, possibly THE worst. The new Ruin is going to be completely useless on these two killers especially.

Both sides short matches for both sides. Neither will pip. Less variety of killers to play as and against.

I’m kind of glad that ruin received a changed because now the devs can actually see that killers like Legion,Clown, Plague, and etc are not really doing that well.

Trapper. I feel like it takes forever for them to “prep”, aka collect and set up traps. By the time they’re ready 2 gens are done. This is coming from a survivor perspective. Just today I had a game where I didn’t see a trapper till there where 3 gens done, and he didn’t have Ruin.

Trapper, he needs something to slow early game down while prepping the match. Ruin was the perfect early game slow down perk.

Any killer main or player that doesn't know how to put pressure. I think the ruin will increase the skill level of killer players. To many times do killer only "win" because ruin is active. Cause as soon as it breaks they aren't able to put pressure mainly because they have tunnel vision for one survivor.

M1 killers/killers with no pressure. Killers who needed Ruin the most. On the contrary, killers who were already good and didn't need Ruin may actually get more use out of it, as they are actually able to pressure survivors off of generators.

Huntress. I think she's the only one that really needs it to get early game pressure.

Literally everybody lmao. High rank survivors and red ranks will get crowded by people who genrushed their way up. Killers have less pressure and are forced to go back to building for late game, and low rank survivors never get better, so they end up frustrated when paired with higher ranked players

Honestly... Your average red rank killers are going to suffer. The really good ones will still be really good. Your average ones will still maintain red rank because it's too easy not to but it will be much more frustrating.

If you can't hit the skill checks, find the totem... there are perks that help you find them.
I don't buy that RUIN single handedly caused 4 people to all lose.

Basically any killer with weak map control or needs time so they can fully set-up their powers.

All killers will suffer. The ones that will suffer the least are the top 4 killers ( Spirit, Nurse, Billy, Hag ), while someone like Huntress will definitely suffer a lot, because she is a slow killer who already has bad perk synergy.

New players, they are the ones that can not loop. They will be tunneled out of games with no mercy from any killer that used to play somewhat nice.

I play without riun for weeks and still made it to R1.

Her set up game time is better than Trapper's set up time and even without Ruin, she still can snowball in mid or late game better than other killers.

There are a lot of factors into the "win" killers get. There's the times that ppl just look for ruin and cant find it, instead of just working through it. I have seen games in solo ques that the players r walking around all looking for ruin for a long time. Now because of the time wasted looking for a long period of time. Tbe longer the game the better the chance the killer has to win.... normally

Luckily all of the Trap killers synergize so well with Corrupt as do the stalk or low terror radius characters. So really not too much will change for my playstyle

He could put a trap down to help defend Ruin, also he sacrifices early game to set up traps.
Hag can use corrupt intervention fine because she’s fast at setting up traps. Trappers constant back and forth movement picking up traps i feel wouldnt work as well but a number of people appear to have had success with corrupt intervention so maybe he will be ok after all. I’m not a Trapper main so I wouldn’t like to assume.

I think Trapper won't suffer as much. He can take good use out of Corrupt Intervention. Clown on the other side... uff
