Killer Concept- The Widow

Lore (brief): A bride-to-be, turned ruthless killer when the entity enveloped the venue of her wedding in fog, stripping away everything she held dear, she wishes her desperate attempts to please the entity will eventually give her back everything she lost, she will stop at nothing until that day comes.

Stats:

Height- Medium

Terror radius- 32m (average)

Movement speed- 4.6 (115%)

Terror sound- Heartbeat + Crying

Weapon- Stained glass fragment

Map: Ceremonial Grounds (Essentially a chapel, however different to Father Campbell’s)


Power- Lamentation:

(Possesses charge time of 1.75 seconds, with a cooldown of 15 seconds) The Widow unleashes a hindering screech, disturbing the environment around her. Survivors within direct line of sight of the Widow will begin weeping, the weeping effect can only be cleansed by another survivor. Weeping survivors become affected by the hindered and blindness status effects, rendering them slowed and unable to see their fellow survivors until they are remedied, survivors who begin weeping also receive no auditory cues from skill checks, if a weeping survivor fails a skill check, the affected generator regresses by 5%. A survivor can only stop weeping if they interact with another survivor.

Iridescent add-ons:

Grieving Gasps- Survivors affected by Lamentation no longer suffer from the Hindered status effect, but now begin weeping when within the Widow’s terror radius as opposed to line of sight. (Note: If survivors are affected by the Oblivious status effect, the Widow’s power can still affect them provided they are standing within 32m of her).

Tearful Touch- Survivors that remedy another survivor’s sorrows have their aura revealed for 6 seconds.

Teachable perks:

Loyalty Lies: Whenever a generator is powered, all survivors currently repairing a different generator suffer the exposed status effect for 20/25/30 seconds.

Hex: Misery Loves Company: Spawns 2 hex totems randomly on the map, when one totem is cleansed, any survivors within 32 metres become affected by the Oblivious status effect, the effect is only lifted when the second totem is cleansed.

Vows of Redemption: Losing your target fuels your determination. Exiting a chase or being stunned by a survivor grants you a charge, for a maximum of 3 charges. Each charge grants you a 3/4/5% haste bonus when carrying a survivor and slows the survivor’s wiggle progression by 8/9/10%. Hooking a survivor consumes 1 charge.
