Skill Checks on PC extremely laggy compared to console. Help?
I just bought dbd on PC with a few friends after we played it on console for a few months. We played a few games and we’ve noticed the skill checks are practically impossible. I get 60 FPS but when a skill check pops up it looks like it’s at 7 FPS. Not only that but half the time the indicator is only on the good skill check area for like 3-4 frames. There is also a really obvious lag between hitting the button and the indicator actually stopping, On console I was decent at hitting great skill checks but when I go for a great on PC it hits half way through the circle.
Does anyone know what the issue is, is this just lag/dedicated servers? The game is practically unplayable as survivor because of this

Disable Vsync in the ini files.

where is that ini file? i'm going through the dbd files but there are folders inside folders inside folders and i can't find the ini (did went through them)

Will it help? My monitor is 120~ hz, so shouldn’t it just be syncing up to this rate? Also, it won’t get me banned or anything right

And I have never heard of anyone being banned, given that nearly every player on PC does it, and it by all rights should be an option in the game. It can be utterly broken with outit, its like getting banned for character portraits.,
