Gen Speed Based on Maps?
Ok, so with new Ruin released/about to be released, the topic of generator speeds has come up again. With all the talk, there's one (well, two, but I I'd rather discuss the other issue in a separate thread) solution that could solve a lot of issues for both sides, and also allow for more creative freedom from the Devs:
MAKE GENERATOR SPEED MAP DEPENDENT
This means that killers will no longer have to groan whenever they see Mother's Dwelling or Mount Ormond, and survivors won't curse the sight of the The Game or possibly Sanctum of Wrath anywhere near as much. This means that toolboxes won't need to be looked at, but they are their own issue, and I think that maybe reducing their effectiveness on generators might still need to be looked at.
A lot of people are going to say that certain killers just need to apply more pressure, but some killers are simply unable to do so effectively.

I contemplated this but killers that have consistent map pressure ruin it. Get it, ruin?

Careful.
Someone will come in and tell you to "Recognize the double standard"
Anyways, I feel like this is a fair change, 110 m/s killers that aren't Spirit struggle so much on maps like Ormond and Mother's Dwelling. A change like this will definitely take a bit of the pressure off of them.

How would abuse by consistent pressure killers be prevented?

As a stealth player, I personally feel that the larger maps are just WAY too easy on the survivor's side. I can't be accused of "double standard", because I literally consider both sides, because I play both.

Smaller maps would be quicker, and possibly quicker then they currently are to help deal with this problem.
In a way, and this is not a criticism of your point, but it's like saying "What's doing to be done about mobility killers on a map like Sanctum or Yamaoka Estate?" It's just a part of the game that survivors have to deal with. They have no control over what killer/perks/add-ons they face and accept that every time they enter a match.

Honestly we'll just have to wait and see what happens to Freddy/Spirit/Billy

What he's saying is that on big maps if gen speeds were slower, killers like Billy, Nurse, Freddy, and Spirit who are able to apply pressure consistently and travel far distances much faster than others would likely be impossible to win against if the killer had any sort of skill.

I never said it had to be increased by a lot. Or would it be better if it was by killer type/individual killers?

Honestly I just want them to have the same exact number of pallets/windows/obstructions on every map, have the doors a specific distance apart from one another, and make all maps the EXACT same size. It's really the only way to balance every killer properly. Gen speeds probably wouldn't need to be touched if they could learn balance. Also playing as survivor would be even more boring in those scenarios, plus the last time they posted map details, survival rate was below 50% for all maps, including "survivor favored ones", although the survival rates for the "survivor favored ones" weren't much lower than 50%.

Everyone would put an offering where it'll be more powered like Haddonfield or The Game

I think that you'll find that 99% of survivors utterly despise the game map. And with the current prevalence of Myers and Ghostface, it'd make those maps really hard to play on with those killers around. They're already hard enough as it is against those killers.

If they go by that idea than everyone would be forced to play it.

With map offerings? You could literally reduce their prevalence within Bloodwebs, and with enough game cancellations after seeing the offerings, people will stop using them.
You watch. If the community doesn't want to play nice with each other, the community will make it harder for each other.
